When your almost 50yrs old and have assets close to 1million dollars -- its doesn't mean much. Doesn't mean your a millionaire or you have a boatload of money. You might of bought a home 20yrs ago for 150K and now its appraised at 1 million... now what? All of a sudden you're rich?? NO, you still have that 50k a year job etc..
