Dear Jay;

Hats off to you. Ron Paul is a patriot that is resisted and scorned by those that have hijacked his party. It seems only lip-service is paid to the constitution by many candidates who turn around and disrespect it. Not so with Congressman Paul. Its unheard of for someone like Ron Paul to have the same consistent principles spanning 4 decades. I hope the American people, who are often so eager to surrender personal liberties to the pandering of politicians, will appreciate Dr. Paul's appearance tonight. He is the champion of the constitution.

Tonight you have managed to do a job that the news media has failed
to do on their own; to give a presidential candidate who has proven
to be a contender unbiased news coverage. It is sad that Americans
have to get their news from entertainment venues such as The Daily
Show or your show instead of our current news outlets. Those venues
have turned into nothing more than shouting matches from inflated
talking heads and resemble a playground name calling session rather
than an adult discussion about the issues.

Thank you for reminding America what the true meaning of "Fair and
Balanced" really means.

Good luck during the writer's strike.

I have to admit, my admiration for Jay has sky rocketed. Not just because he had my candidate on. Even disagreeing with Ron on a number of things he was upset by the unfairness of Ron being excluded. He seems to me to be a fundamentally decent guy. All we ever asked for was a fair shake from the media - they don't have to like us or agree with us - just be fair. And it isn't about being fair to Ron Paul, per se', it's about giving the American people the chance to hear different views and then to decide for themselves.
