I'm not sure then even Obama could make the AQ in Haiti claim fly.

On the other hand, if he can't get his nationalized health care rammed through here in the USA for a little while longer, Haiti is the prefect candidate to take the full-blown welfare state idea international a la Atlas Shrugged. In fact, perhaps he'll even get to rename the future island paradise "The People's State of Haiti" in preparation for the Happy Days soon to come.
