Let's face it, people RP is NOT a great speaker. He is novel, in a way and (in a sort of visceral way convincing) but can easily be attacked and humiliated. To NON-RP supporters (who are precisely who we need to convert), he's not persuasive tonight. He needs (if he gets another chance to debate) to get a serious debating partner, tone down the anger, and incorporate (GASP) some rhetorical techniques into his presentation.

It's not easy when thousands are out to get you- but it's the only way to excel at this point.

I'm not saying he should be inauthentic or change his policies- he just needs to find a way to present his approach in a manner that appeals to a broader audience than 20 somethings with college degrees or techies with 130+ IQs. That's democracy.

My dream would be a third party candidacy where he trains for several months before some summer debates- Rocky style.

I can’t believe this debate! The moderators are ATTACKING Ron Paul… it’s unreal, I have NEVER seen a debate like this before. Fox has gone too far… I want to wipe the smarmy smirks of these moderators faces.

Ron Paul did kick their butt, but still it's so biased.

My wife just said the same thing, but in a different way. She said, "Fox is trying to interject themselves into the debate, and it's backfiring." I agree wholeheartedly.
