*****Official SC Debate Thread*****

Who were the folks in that room. They looked like everyday people but were using campaign lingo. Did they give them the lines and let them practice for a half hour?

I've been trying to text my vote for twenty minutes and it's not going through. The fact that they haven't shown results yet probably means that Paul is winning :)

hmmm.... i wouldn't be too quick to jump to conclusions about mitt being good at heart.... those sleazy politicians are all talk!!!! they trick ppl. into thinking that they're all nicey nice... when they get their votes, they're done with caring about them and done with their trick of sounding nice... that's why i tell ppl you can't go by emotions in this thing!!! these candidates are all trying to emotionally manipulate voters... you have to go by their voting records and see what they're really made of!!! our ron paul here has the most consistent voting record that shows he is truly the most principled candidate!!!.... one thing is for sure.. that ron paul's heart is made of gold :)

If Fat Duntz is a pollster, shouldn't his focus group be representative of the population he's attempting to sample? That would mean 1 Ron Paul supporter and 2 Fred Thompson supporters for every 20 people.

In the post-debate, Mitt deflected a question from Hannity that equated RP with the Democrats. Mitt talked just about the Dems rather than attacking RP.

I think Mitt is a good man at heart. Not that I'd vote for him, just an observation.

Well if you recall, Ron Paul has many times talked about how absurd it is for people to make an issue of Romney's religion. He has even defended Romney from baseless attacks without even being asked to comment on the matter.

That focus group was not from South Carolina. None of them had the accent.

Staged.
Watch Thompson will win SC. They are giving one to each but I would put money on Rudy to win the nomination.

If he doesn't win the nomination I will be very supprised.
