Official Q3 Military Donations Thread (Volunteers Needed)

You know, when I initially made this ad, I might have leaned toward keeping Obama, considering he is the Commander-in-Chief. However, looking at the current state of the race.. that might be the right way to go actually. I'll make an alternative tomorrow! :)

Awesome, looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Here's a screenshot of the ad running front and center on the Ottumwa, Iowa Courier's newspaper website:

Great work on this front.
Now for the bad news...
Both Iowa magazines I contacted don't accept political ads. Damn it. It would've been nice to branch out into a different demographic, but I suppose newspapers are the way to go anyway.

Also, I'm pretty sure this has already been thought of but I'll blurt it out now while I'm thinking of it, Is the campaign running the new "Life" ad on Huckabee's Fox News show in Iowa? That would seem to be the prime target audience for that.

The other place the graph ad is currently running (that I'm aware of), the Council Bluffs, Iowa newspaper's online site:

Go Grassroots!

You mean the ones we were going to run the "Oath" ad in?

No, this post was from the first 2 magazines I found. The latest thread about Iowa Farmer Today and Iowa Living is still valid, they both take them, or at least haven't said no yet.

Our Iowa - no political ads
Iowan - no political ads

Iowa Living - yes, have ad info, heavy suburban Des Moines distribution
Iowa Farmer Today - I just emailed them, waiting on reply

Just switched the click through to supportthemnow.com Hopefully Dr. P continues his track record of strong support from Iowa donors.

Ok I just realized this website from 2ndfor1st is basically perfect for this and switched the clickthrough again for both ads to:
http://ronpaulronpaul.com/

I
feel kinda dumb I didn't notice that earlier. Feel free to throw a guy a heads up when I'm missing something that obvious!
