>>>***Official***<<< Presidential Debate Thread

I'm reading around the government press, and I'm seeing "draw".

That, and they are really pushing this:

The "differences" that are not.

Politically and policy wise, this is as pointless an election as I've seen in all my adult life, even more than Dole/Clinton in 1996.

Know of any side by side comparison charts floating around? I'd really like to throw something like that in the face of a few of my family members that are on a scorched earth campaign to get me to vote Romney.

The Ron Paul Crew will Have the Last Laugh!

We eliminate the Republican Party for what they did to the Ron Paul Crew First.

Then we send to Trial UN Leader Barakh H. Obama on Treason, and send him to Prison or worse for the Laboratory Experiment his government has been conducting on Americans.

Failing to prepare? Expectations?

That's just spin.

He's just not very bright. Romney was much quicker on his feet.

I think Obama is bright but when you live in that echo chamber where you are never challenged, you tend to rest on your laurels. He came in unprepared and didn't respect Romney's debate skills..

I looked it up a few days ago on Wikipedia, so I know the answer to this. But, if you don't know, that's probably better. Appearently there are TV shows on channels I don't watch. Sons of Anarchy is also one of those shows. It appears that is also a popular show.

Our nations problems have nothing to do with a popularity contest or technicalities.

We're talking within the fantasy world of politics, not the real world.

Romney sharp and steady in first presidential debate

DENVER — In the first presidential debate of the fall campaign, neither Mitt Romney nor President Obama appeared to land a knockout blow or commit the sort of serious blunder that would instantly change the presidential race.

The Republican challenger held his own during a 90-minute encounter that revolved almost exclusively around domestic issues.

Romney, offering sharper answers than Obama and seizing control of the debate at several points, was never ruffled, repeatedly predicting that Obama would provide more “trickle-down government” if he were reelected in November. He defended himself against charges from Obama that his tax cut plan would favor the wealthy.

The country is screwed with either choice, but I do get enjoyment reading some of these tweets, dispelling the Obama Superman myth which has been so prevalent for so long:

All I see when I go to the 7-11 is piles of news papers that nobody is buying.

Chris Matthews is mad that Obama didn't mention the undercover video of Mitt. Of course Obama wouldn't mention that, that was behind closed doors talk and Obama knows you don't talk about that.

By the way, I laughed so many times throughout Ron Paul's pre-debate segment: What do you think is going to happen it tonight's debate? "Well, there probably won't be a debate"

Also really pleased he mentioned that having the Green and Libertarian Parties in the mix would cause this thing to really be a debate
