I'm banking on the Romney Camp being in denial of the inevitable Paul win, and they're just saying stuff like that to comfort themselves and prepare for a fourth consecutive loss.

Except if they declare they're going to win before the results are out, and then they don't win, they look ridiculous, desperate, and defeated once again. It makes no sense for them to do so if they don't already know the results.

That CNN reporter Shannon Something seems to be a Ron Paul fan. He has some good mentions of him in Minnesota, slipped up and said, "we're hoping Ron Paul wins" or something like that, and so far this evening he keeps mentioning Ron Paul before Mitt Romney.
