**Official** LibertyPAC Presidents Day Money Bomb Thread

I thought we would hit 1million, but since everyone is donating 20.12 not 100, I suspect 1/4th of that number for the day.

I assume the average donation is significantly higher than $20.12. My guess is somewhere around $50. But I think you're probably close to the mark for that quarter million total.

Donated $50 last night and it looks like it started at around $300,000. Pretty disappointing so far.

Remember this one is more about number of donors, not necessarily money.

Agreed, lets also keep in mind he has not even officially announced his campaign yet and this is simply for his PAC. On top of that, there is still a ton of time left to donate more money. I think we all should do a 2nd round of donations, even if it is a small amount.

I had the same problems as well. I opened it up in firefox and paid through paypal, that seemed to do the trick for me.

Does anyone else feel bad about donating less than the FRN value of one ounce of silver?

In general, I feel bad that I donated the same amount in 2008 and could have bought an ounce of silver.
http://www.kitco.com/scripts/hist_charts/monthly_graphs.plx ~ $18/oz, which is less than $20.12

So yes, I feel bad that it won't buy as much as it used to, but I'm doing what I can.

edit: wow, that's creepy now that I looked it up. The price of silver has nearly doubled since Ron's 2008 campaign.

I wish we had ronpaulgraphs to track our progress

Donation rate has really picked up in the last two hours....if we keep up this rate, we can raise another $200K by midnight.

I just saw Carol Paul on the ticker! Sounds like she's signing off on Ron running again ;)

I've been attempting to donate since midnight last night. Every time, with two different cards, I have received the following message:

Canceled
Sorry, your donation was rejected. Please try again later.

Anyone have any idea as to why this keeps happening?

**Collins, if you read this, I can't send a message to Eric because he has that function disabled in his privacy options.

I think towards the middle / end of the last campaign we all realized the Paul campaign wasn't playing to win, they were playing for change and influence. Well, it seems that part worked. I for one hope that this time around he is playing to win the Presidency.
