**Official** LibertyPAC Presidents Day Money Bomb Thread

D'oh, Your right Fat John on my numbers. I hope someone (I emailed) calls me out on it, it would at least suggest their doing their own research and could lead to a good discussion.

Ignorant question alert

What is a PAC?

Does the money go towards Ron's campaign if he decides to run, or is that illegal?

Here's what he said in one of his recent emails:
Money sent to Liberty PAC will allow me the flexibility I need to test the waters and determine the next best step as I continue to fight for what you and I hold so dear.

Liberty PAC funds will allow me to travel, speak out, hire staff, and fund mail, phones, emails, and banner, TV, and radio ads to contact, educate, and persuade our fellow Americans. And, it will provide me with flexibility no other vehicle can.

But I wish he'd be more direct. He doesn't need to announce he's officially running. But why can't he just say, "I'm very seriously considering running for president, and I'm using LibertyPAC as my exploratory committee. If I see that I have enough support to run again, then I will."

After all, that's pretty much what anybody with a regular exploratory committee says.

Thank you for your generous donation to Liberty PAC. Your donation affords Ron the flexibility he needs to test the waters and determine his next best step as he continues to fight for Liberty.

Thank you,

Has anyone experienced a problem entering your state info in the form field? It won't allow me to enter or select a state from that section and it is required information.
Damn! I may have to mail them my $20.12 instead. :(

yeah, the form is a little weird. keep clicking. I dunno if you have to click on the number or the arrow.

Yup had that problem too! Lets hope he is not losing donations because of it. It took a few tries to get the drop down windows to work.

and I donated another $20.12 a few days ago. Is there specific number we're trying to reach today?

Yeah, I had clicking problems on some of those drop-down menus too. I had to try a bunch of times, and it seemed like I had to put the cursor a little bit off center for it to work.

Still not working for me. I tried to email them to tell them of the problem but what kind of address is this: E-mail Liberty PAC?? Am I missing something here? Should it read [email protected]? This sucks.

Mine did have a problem when I linked from RPF but when I opened a new link in a new tab it worked fine.

Maybe I just lucked out the second time....

Wow. I figured there would be hypertext in there. But there isn't. It's definitely a mistake.

So that's two issues they need to fix. Fortunately they give a phone # too.

The way I figure it only 2000 to 2500 people have donated today so far.... Man we gotta do better than this!

I thought we would hit 1million, but since everyone is donating 20.12 not 100, I suspect 1/4th of that number for the day.
