Your analogy doesn't actually make sense to me, Conza. This thread is actually relevant to Lew's area of specialty (ie. economics, liberty and geopolitics).

It's like we are talking about energy or physics, and Einstein doesn't get it but a forum poster does.
 
It's my understanding that Ron Paul didn't know much about these other issues either until Larry MacDonald schooled him. I just don't think these things are part of what mises.org focuses on.

See, no - you are framing it wrong. The person you simply refer to as "a forum poster" is representing the KNOWLEDGE and often first hand experiences of G. Edward Griffin, Larry McDonald, Aaron Russo, Alex Jones... and the list could go on and on.

LewRockwell knows jack about that; (it appears that way, but as we said earlier - he may well do, it would just be completely retarded for him to come out with it) Nor should he need too; it's not his job.

He focuses on Austrian Economics, fighting the powers that way. And there are others with different roles, but with the same goals.

YOU have obviously never taken the time to research any of this...

I said "smart", not brilliant. Naomi is very smart but admitted she was only working with bubbles of information and had not even given a second thought to the Federal Reserve. Her paradigm is about to change because of the new info. I consider Lew very smart but taken at face value, he also is working with only bubbles of information and makes his assessments without all the info available. I have known many geniuses in my lifetime, including my brother who had an IQ of 166 but had the common sense of a freaking rock. It is a pattern I have noticed with all the geniuses I have known in my lifetime. They miss the forest through the trees often because they are too focused on a single tree.

Either that or it's because I have been spared fluoridated water most of my life and Lew wasn't :p.

Thanks Conza. Embarrassingly, I have logged at least 5000 hrs of research into the NWO and just about all the subtopics it entails. I doubt Lew researches things like fluoride and mercury and Illuminati and symbolism, and ancient religion, and UFO's, etc., etc., etc. :p
 
I was a big government Green three years ago. Now, after being exposed to the liberty message, I'm an anarcho-capitalist and I feel right at home.

No worries. :) Well, I've woke to the nwo probably 8 months ago after witnessing the media blackout first hand... A lot of people I think fail to remember what it was like... at our peak; people were screaming for news coverage, doing amazing stuff, money bombs and all that, we were on fire.. the media blackout tightened epically.. not even a peep; removed from polls; silenced, practically no article ever written on Ron Paul in a newspaper, THAT was NOT online... *shakes head*

Ron raised the most money in 4th Quarter, we all thought - money is what the MSM wanted.. it was always about money.. BUT NOO, we witnessed it wasn't money at all. It was power & the status quo. You only got pimped if you were an establishment candidate. Case & point. Well then, who controls the media? It just ain't the republicans (Bush) it's also the democrats... so in fact, this is bigger than both FALSE left / FALSE right paradigm parties...

If you have an open mind to truth and reason, you really can't avoid the logical progression. I started out being weird about Alex Jones - he's crazy, out there etc... but doing minimal research and seeing it myself, he is spot on.

Anyway, I've gone on a bit of a rant. At the moment I know the endgame and that is what is important. Educating myself as best as I can, in order to pimp liberty & freedom, through economics and sound arguments that can be proven a priori, with evidence, logic etc... no relying on the Conspiracy stuff... But I do think that once shown the path, the people will come to that eventually.. it all depends on how willing they are to follow the truth, no matter where it leads.

I was an independant leaning Chomskyite semi socialist... a year ago. I was lost; all that I needed to be shown was the Liberty message, I had just never been given the opportunity to hear it.

I don't know who it was that set me on this path; but it was a Ron Paul supporter who had spammed "Ron Paul is America's Only Hope" on a Chomsky video... I youtubed Ron Paul and viola! :)

Now I'm also an anarcho-capitalist... it really is the only logical conclusion. Anti-state, pro-market... Always keeping the mind open for alternatives that are better... but really, I think I've come to the place I'll remain most my life... atm, not sure how you can out do Rothbard and Mises etc.... :)
 
I was a registered Democrat before being converted by the Revolution. Never has one candidate made so much sense to me in my 23 years on this planet.

Okay:

I was mostly apathetic, in terms of caring enough to act (vote, protest, etc.). In my mind, though, I thought that G.W. Bush was doing the right things, "spreading democracy" and all that, so it's probably best that I didn't vote—uninformed as I was. I was one of those folks who had the attitude that government spying on its people wasn't a problem if you had nothing to hide.

One day I heard about this thing called Tea Party 07, where some candidate raised $6 Million in one day. I was curious as to what all the buzz was about, and I found the Republican debate footage where Ron Paul mopped the floor with the other candidates (which I can say now—I didn't realize that was exactly what he did until I started learning more about him). No one in congress is more consistent with their voting. He started talking about the founders and, by my own homework, I found this article here at the Future of Freedom Foundation, which forever changed my stance on U.S. Foreign policy.

Always interesting to hear the paths taken to, shall I say, "enlightenment". Mine was a long and winding road. I was apathetic about politics to the extreme. Could not possibly care less. That changed BIG time when I found out wth was really going on and the danger we are in. 9/11 and then NWO were the last subjects I ended up researching and I didn't even come across Alex Jones until my education was almost complete. AJ's (and others) work on 9/11 and NWO tied all my other areas of research together. I was a Kucinich supporter for a short period of time (still am....my favorite benevolent socialist) because he was the only one I was aware of at the time that was aware of what the hell was really going on. Alex Jones kept promoting RP though. During the first GOP debate, I paid attention to what RP was saying just because AJ kept pimping him and I was curious as to why. It became obvious in the first debate. He had me at "hello" :p

RP and AJ are the sane people in an insane world. That's why some think then insane because everything has been turned on it's head. We have an education sytem that uneducates us. We have an FDA complicit in eugenics of Americans. We have a defense system on the offensive. Etc., etc., etc. And people except this? That's insanity.
 
I dont know her well.. but I caught Sullivan and her exchange on Maher.. look that up. Its a good one.

She sounds quite sincere and I am convinced she is truly reaching out in an attempt to fuse us all together for the right cause. She still has some learning to do, no doubt, to fully understand who the enemy is but she will learn from the people who know.

Naomi, if you are following this thread, please research the Federal Reserve in earnest. You will soon find out that the left/right paradigm is false and it is the Federal Reserve pulling the strings of the Dem/GOP puppets. They OWN us. You must of heard the term New World Order by now. It has been all over the news, especially in the foreign news. Once a "conspiracy theory" is now on the lips of every leader abroad. Terms like New Global Financial Order, One World Government, Globalization, etc., are the same thing. One World Government is the goal and it is being funded by the Federal Reserve. The same people who will have control of the One World Government through it's financial system.

The Federal Reserve and One world Government is the key to your fully understanding what is really going on and who has been behind every President since JFK.

There are many good scholars you could contact on the subject but if you want to be quick study, I suggest you get hold of G Edward Griffin for the low down on the organization. He is the author of The Creature from Jekyl Island (the creature being the Federal Reserve).
