Official Campaign Store

Dang it! I just bought a bunch of stuff to save on shipping and in my haiste, I didn't know that you had to select the shirt size when adding it to your cart. This 240 pound man now has a small shirt coming his way :-/

I couldn't find any contact info or an email that would let me try to change my order. Guess I'll just have to chalk it to an extra donation, but I have no idea what I'm going to do with a small Ron Paul Tshirt...

you could make a flag out of it :D

The site is seriously bugged. I just tried to buy a ton of shit and my cart didn't update correctly at all. Sometimes it would add the wrong thing, sometimes it just wouldn't do anything.

I'm having a problem like this too.... :(

Whatever the first item I add to my cart is, it doesn't show in my cart but it charges for it in the total.. Very disappointing. IDK what to do.

EDIT, SOLUTION: If anyone else is experiencing this, the solution for me was to add one item, open the cart in a new tab, add another item from the other page, refresh the cart, add another item, refresh, and so on.

EDIT #2: I tried this method again and it didn't work and is back to doing the same thing. :(

I'm trying to buy hats. When I click on the hat description from the list (trying to find out the fiber content, which isn't given), it adds a t-shirt to my cart.

Another bug I found: The Campaign Store drop-down menu on the index page mostly hides behind the donation ticker/banner thing.

Thanks for the heads up. I see that now. I still think there should be a table or something with links.

But I'm a programmer, not a web designer, so my opinion isn't worth much. :p

I just clicked on "T-Shirt" in the lower right side of the "Shipping Policies" page, and doing so brings up a Shopping Cart with the following contents (which I haven't even looked at yet):

Shopping Cart
Product Qty Price
Restore America's Prosperity (pack of 100) 1 $5.00
End the Fed Issue Cards (pack of 100) 1 $5.00
A Pro-Life Champion Issue Cards (pack of 100) 1 $5.00
Lower Taxes Issue Cards (pack of 100) 1 $5.00
Ron Paul 2012 White Lapel Sticker 2" - Roll of 50 2 $8.00
Ron Paul 2012 Rally/Window Sign 14" x 22" 2 Sides Blue/White 1 $2.50
Shipping: $12.10
Total: 7 $42.60

I can't find a way to contact the campaign office to order by phone.

On the day of the moneybomb this error could have serious blowback for the campaign. If people aren't paying attention and just pay for whatever is put in their cart, they are going to be flooding the campaign with phone calls. I recall we had issues with the store last time. Debbie was great at resolving these issues but I hope their resources are better put to use. I hope somebody corrects this soon.

I tried looking at hats again, and simply clicking "hats" in the drop-down menu added these items to my cart:

Ron Paul 2012 Restore America Now WHITE BUMPER STICKER 2 $5.00
Ron Paul 2012 Navy Blue Koozie 1 $4.00
Shipping: $3.08
Total: 3 $12.08

Oh...and it did add to my cart automatically:
Product Qty Price
Ron Paul 2012 White Poly-Bag Yard Signs 14" x 22" w wire frame 2 $7.00
Ron Paul 2012 2.25" White Button 2 $5.00
Ron Paul 2012 White Car Magnets 18" x 12" 2 $25.00
Shipping: $10.66
Total: 6 $52.66

I never even clicked on anything other than the link i posted above. That needs to be fixed asap.

I haven't had any problems with random products being added to my cart. I doubt which browser you are using has any effect, but I'm using Firefox.

Well I found an even bigger bug. I decided to try the site using IE, which I almost never use for anything (dunno how to uninstall). Just to see what would happen.

I went to the main page and clicked the Campaign Store link. (Drop-down menu still "hides" behind ticker.) The next thing I see is a shopping cart with the following content:

Ron Paul 2012 White Poly-Bag Yard Signs 14" x 22" w wire frame 2 $7.00
Ron Paul 2012 2.25" White Button 2 $5.00
Ron Paul 2012 White Car Magnets 18" x 12" 2 $25.00
Shipping: $10.66
Total: 6 $52.66

I've NEVER visited this site using IE, so how can there be a "cache" problem?

First, I am glad that they have finally put this up. As I want to focus on the precinct lists, the two debates in FL, and Presidency 5. I would rather not deal with the product side.

But, I don't see any question on whether or not the campaign is actually getting any of the profit?????????

Seriously, this stuff has a high mark up. In 2008, it was said that the campaign didn't see any money from the product sales.

Here is the Price difference between the Official Store and RonPaulProducts.com:
THE TOTAL SAVINGS IS $2558.06 on buying $4050.29 at the Official Store!!!
That means you could spend only $1492.23 at RonPaulProducts.com and GIVE DIRECTLY to the Official Campaign $2,558.06!!!!

1000 Bumper stickers: $831.59
(This is our 1200 price) $217.48
Difference you could just give to the campaign: $614.11

200 Signs with posts: $1,006.50
$545.98
Difference you could just give to the campaign: $460.52

50 12 by 18 Car magnets: $680.50
$389.98
Difference you could just give to the campaign: 290.52

16 White Shirts: $293.50
$120.83
Difference you could just give to the campaign: $172.67

100 Wristbands: $432.20
$108.98
Difference you could just give to the campaign: 323.22

100 bumper sticker magnets: $806.00
$108.98
Difference you could just give to the campaign: $697.02

So at this point, I am very curious to know who is getting the difference?
