Official "Bruno" Trailer Released - Ron Paul appears briefly

Cohen is talented, but underlying his satire is a not so subtle liberal message. He likes to try to make conservatives look stupid.

I'd rather watch South Park for my laughs; its hilarious, and has good politics.

Stupid shit people watch. I can't believe Ron Paul even agreed to be seen with that POS.

He didn't. No one knew that the interview was going to be with this jerk. They're experts at disguising it. How on earth do you think they're able to get in with so very many big dogs? THEY LIE.

Most of the "conservatives" I've seen him make fun of are just neocons, who deserve to be made fun of.

Looks hilarious. Liberal agenda? It's called comedy, and he's trying to point out America's hypocrisies. If it hits too close to home, that's your problem.

lol w00t

i still dont understand how paul couldnt block his segment from being aired. what am i missing here?

and cohen needs his ass kicked for this.

First Bob Barr, now Ron Paul. Does Sascha have a thing about libertarians?

Bob Barr was still a Republican at the time, with a neocon voting record. Paul on the other hand has many supporters who apparently don't have a sense of humor, as this thread so far is proving, and he knew he could easily upset them.

nah, its not the sense of humor that is lacking, for me anyway, its the lack of respect and the fallout that will happen because of this. paul will be called a bigot and a homophobe and will be made fun of. that is what makes me mad about it all.

If anything it'll bring attention to his positions on gay rights. No one will be able to call him a homophobe for walking out of a hotel room, when a man he just met rips his pants off, in front of him.

Seriously, it's hilarious, and i don't think it's gonna hurt us. If it does, then America is too dumbed down and lost to be saved ;)

I don't want to admit it
but i laughed really hard]
i tried to stop it
ill hate him for doing that to ron paul

but the rest of the footage is funny

The thing is, all the other people he will interview will just clearly hate gays before Bruno does anything. It's obvious that it took Sasha as far as having to rip off his pants to get a weird reaction from Paul that Paul will present himself rather nicely. And the rest will be understandable.

Exactly. Let him make a video about whatever he wants. If people are so sore towards him they can try to be as funny and make fun of liberals.

that might get him him good press with the GOP........

I think the Borat was hilarious and Bruno probably will be too. Think it's "trash" if you want but our guys aren't immune. The movie is the epitome of free speech and I'm looking forward to laughing at stupid, pointless toilet humor and seeing people overreact.

Can't wait!

I watched the Ali G show. It was entertaining. Borat was funny, but at times went too far. Wrestling with fat naked men lost it's humor really fast. "Jackass" almost had more class. There are always agendas behind these movies too...

Bruno was my least favorite personality on the Ali G show but this movie looks to be really funny judging by the trailer. Only thing I don't like is putting people in danger (when he drove that scooter hurriedly out of the driveway) - even if it was funny, that's not cool at all.
Here's Ali G w/ Pat Buchanan if anyone is interested:

He supports gay rights

Rights belong to individuals, not groups.

I don't know what to think of this movie or the fact that Ron Paul will be featured. I thought the Borat movie sucked in comparison to the original shows, the scene with the fat guy killed it for me. I felt like he had to be more outrageous where he could of been more entertaining just being regular Borat.

I liked Bruno in the show, because he does a good job of making people contradict themselves especially the fashionistas whose philosophies change just as rapidly as the trends in clothing.

I do think however that the movie will be worse than the show and that it will have even more homosexual acts. Its basically going to be all petty shock value, the lowest form of comedy. I don't think we have to sweat about RP looking bad, because I'm sure any reasonable and decent person such as him would have the same reaction to whatever Bruno is trying to pull. That said, Ron Paul DOES NOT deserve to be shown such disrespect. Its weird, I don't want to watch it for what he did to Ron Paul yet I want to see Ron Paul.

"I gave him like a traditional African name, O.J."
I'm sorry I find this very funny, I laughed when he did similar stuff in Borat and I'll laugh again.
