1) he has too much unproductive time in his current life
2) he's poor, without skills or a real job, a student, and in Michigan
3) he enjoys doing it.

You should build PCs that are compatible with OS X! You'd sell lots of those.

Eh, it takes a patched version of OS X and only works on specific motherboards. I can build a hackintosh, but it'd cost about $100 more for the same specs, and wouldn't work at all on the AMD computer. For the high-end PC, it'd cost about $150 more for a working i7-compatible MoBo + other hardware which it is compatible with. This isn't including the price for the OS. I'm not too familiar with Apple, either.

Ehhh, I spent an hour or so browsing around, and frankly, you're better off here. I can beat the hardware specs (with OS) for the price (not by much), but they also appear to support the OS. I'm not comfortable or familiar enough with Mac to help anyone if something were to go wrong. I think their overhead charges are justified.
