I know everyone is antsy, but most everyone who has been closely tied to this project is working as fast as they possibly can to get this thing in the air by tomorrow (12th), which means they have little time to get on a computer and make such updates. Will press for an update by this evening considering at least one of the banners should be in and being worked on!

This is the official update thread. I don't want to see this thread posted to until it contains official news, so I don't keep coming back in anticipation only to be met with more random unofficial discussion. We have another 500 threads for that.

I would encourage Liberty Political Advertising to start a blog. Either get your webmaster to set up an install of WordPress (or something) on the RonPaulBlimp domain or sign up at blogger.com or wordpress.com for free. Updates on the forums are good, but if you have blog then I can subscribe in my RSS reader. Thanks.

A blog needs to be made ASAP. You can get something simple up TODAY (this is trivial for your webmaster to do and costs nothing) and flesh out the design later. Involve people in the process. Show behind-the-scenes pictures and videos. People can add comments on each blog post, further adding to the publicity and intrigue. Very few know how blimps are done - document it LIVE.

This will make it accessible and create BUZZ for A LOT more people (versus just die-hard RP supporters and forum members).

Yea, it's supposed to be the most heavily guarded airspace on the planet.

Which totally explains why a hijacked private commercial sub-sonic 100,000 lbs behemoth was able to penetrate the airspace, maneuvers its way through the skies, line up a clear pathway into the pentagon, and slam into it!

Based on how well they guarded the airspace that day, we could probably just take our chances and be alright.

I love the Blimp more everyday. I have come to the conclution that the more things going on, the better. The media will be hit by the blimp, then the tea party, then the blimp, then the Q4 numbers, then the blimp.

The blimp give another thing for stories to be written about, if that money were donated to the campaign it would not add as much as the extra media exporsure does.

I agree completely. Communication is absolutely essential. Investors get very antsy when they're kept in the dark.
