**OFFICIAL** BASEBALL THREAD

Congrats on the Series thus far JFK3!

It still amazes me that Vegas, ESPN, and the internet was convinced that Detroit was not only going to win but walk San Fran. Detroit came out of a crap division, has a terrible defense, a bad bullpen, and absolutely no back-end. Their playoff run looked good only because a young team that was white hot cooled down at the wrong time (A's) and an old team ran out of gas at the wrong time (Yankees.) Rock on National League!

Thanks :)

Yeah I hope the yankees keep getting older and I think the A's will be legit next year. As for the Giants, I hope we sweep Detroit so we don't have to face Verlander again.

Giants lead the series 3-0. I don't see the Tigers coming back to win it. If it happens I will upload a video of me crying.

Yes, good luck for the Giants, Detroit is not a complete team.

It was not the happiest season in Miami for Ozzie Guillen....

Miguel Cabrera's two-run shot was answered by one off the bat of Buster Posey to put the Giants back on top in Motown.

Ozzie could be fun some of the time; Maybe he is bipolar?
Damn. I like Ozzie for some reason.

Would you rather sit down and have a beer with Ozzie Guillen or Barry Zito?

Ozzie. The dude is incredibly entertaining. I remember watching an E:60 on him on ESPN a few years ago. I truly respect the guy. I hope he gets another job.

I hated Barry Zito with a passion you could cut with a knife until this season and especially NLCS game 5. I used to be on a Giants forum last year and would often make serious posts about how the Giants should leave him at the bus station.

Zito was a GOD in Oakland. I was very happy when we signed him. I almost got his autograph at an A's game once.
