**OFFICIAL** BASEBALL THREAD

7th inning and the Yankees have two on the board with the O's bats silent as they have been all series. Nate McLouth got robbed of a one run HR that obviously hit the foul pole. Looks like the evil empire is going to win again.

O's have 3 outs to go with 3 hitters who have been swinging at literally everything due up... Oh well, at least they were not shut out.

Damn Yanks... you guys were robbed of a HR, the trajectory changed and everything.

but seriously, O's fans have nothing to be ashamed of this season. You guys did great.

Astonishing win for the Cards last night! Devestating loss for the Nats. Told ya, you can never rule out those red birds...

Too bad Orioles. I was really hoping you'd stick it to the Skanks. :(

That's why regular season stats and success doesn't matter in these short series games.

My predictions all came true. It's going to be Cards vs. Giants and Yanks vs. Tigers.

OK, so Matt Holliday is a dirty player eh? Looks like he just earned himself a bean ball. And Vogelsong is the best pitcher on the Giants to deliver it.

The Yankees are done.

I don't think the Tigers can beat whoever comes out of the National League, so I'm pulling for your Giants JFK3.

I'm sure if the Yanks lose the series their excuse will be Jeter. Then they will kindly tell you to shut up, and remind you how many rings they have.

Nah, this is how you breakup a double play.

This is why more baseball stadiums should have retractable roofs. Heck, I'll take any kind of roof. Hardly any games were rained out this year due to the great drought, but it would make the season go smoother with even fewer.
