ESPNBoston.com's Gordon Edes is reporting via Twitter that the Red Sox and Dodgers are working on a deal involving Adrian Gonzalez, Josh Beckett, Carl Crawford and Nick Punto.

If this deal goes through, things are going to get interesting.

Yeah LA picked up a ton of salary ($261.5mil after 2012) and Adrian Gonzalez is the only possible plus. I don't see Crawford being more than an average player anymore. He was terrible in Boston and now he just had Tommy John surgery.
