I think they wanted this debate to be garbage because this is the most important issue right now and half these people dont have solid plans and can go into details about it. It would break their campaigns if they looked stupid and goofed, so they are just talking about stupid shit instead.

Good point. Most of them have no economic knowledge or experience and would look foolish if asked about things like monetary policy. It's the kindergarten economic debate. Can't ask Rand anything because Ron educated him.

It's a bad sign when the biggest applause lines are attacks on the moderators. Sure they suck but no one is talking about anything that matters.

No Santelli didn't just call Cruz a Fed critic. CNBC letting Cruz steal what should be Rand's homerun.

I worked out for about 30 minutes and watched the debate with subtitles. I couldn't follow a thing and every question lacked substance. It seemed like the moderators wanted to take down all the candidates. What else should I expect?
