Obama sends US combat troops to Uganda

Obama is one of the worst Presidents of all time and hes not even through with his first term. The way he further crippled the economy combined with all these wars.....just inexcusable. WAR HAWK.

Gary Johnson is on Bret Baier right now in support of joining this war in Central Africa. Hes also being extremely inarticulate. Bad interview for him.

Hopefully Rand will call his ass out on it. Will Soetoro report to Congress on this in a timely manner specified in the war powers act?

Webster Tarpley has spoke about the Africa connection in some detail. This is all about ultimately being in a position to cut off the flow of African oil to the Chinese. Has zero to do with "humanitarianism."

Is Johnson now an official foreign interventionist?

this ^^^ And these bastards are playing high stakes poker with the lives of our children on the table to finance the game. They know they are going to have a problem with home grown terrorists because that will be the name for anyone who dares to dodge the draft they are planning.

With only 100 troops it truly does seem humanitarian. But given Obama's past, this will turn into something redonkulous.

Obama can't be too stupid to know that China isn't just gonna roll over and take that. I wonder why he wants war with China so bad.

Concerning the possible deployment to some of the countries in Central Africa, I actually once brought this up last year in this thread. The potential for this was suprising, I had thought about If America may be were send soldiers to the country I brought up as an example.

We can only hope that may be the leaders of these nations can say No to the deployment, afterall who knows where this could lead to if it were go wrong..

Here is the BBC article I read last year, clearly the deployment hasn't worked, if America is sending one hundred, though I kind of hate to bring optimism, but is this succeeds may be it will be for the best.

the best for whom? there are groups over in that area besides the LRA have been raping, dismembering, disfiguring, kidnapping enslaving and murdering those same people for decades/centuries. the void will be filled if the LRA some how is magically disbanded.

sure, the US can help capture Kony. great. we are the policemen of the world, after all. but our intervention won't stop with that. we have to "finish the job" and "win". and the taxpayers here will be footing the bill-- wait, let me rethink that-- the US .gov will be increasing our deficit spending and our debt, printing dollars and "borrowing" money from china, all in order to take on this "humanitarianism" effort. and by doing so, the .gov is in essence enslaving its own citizens.

f*ck this. i'm sick and tired of this shit.

and i can guaran-damn-tee you that non-combative people are going to die in the process of providing "humanitarian assistance" and "liberating" them.

AFRICOM is a damn joke. and it should have never been formed (same with all the other unified combatant commands).

we are a nation enthralled with killing and afraid of death. and our "leaders" are willing to enslave us in order to "liberate" the world.

what a bright future for my children.

Currently in the Centra African nation there is crime, gangs etc

The rebel group has invaded and attacked villages in the past, the military there isn't equipt to do the job of repelling these mad people. I'm notsure what President Bozize hopes to see happen, he was re-elected for a second term earlier this year, he said at his inauguration.

President Bozize said at his swearing in ceremony in March.

"For my second five-year term, my most absolute wish is to consolidate tirelessly the work of national reconstruction undertaken since the leap ahead of 2003" when he deposed Ange Felix Patasse, Bozize said at the swearing-in ceremony."

Nothing is great there, but there is a long road ahead there. So long as the politicians manage to maintain some sort of government they won't go completely wrong. But some members of the parliament there have to eventually wake up or leave since there has to be some signs of progress there, the aid money probably doesn't help them but traps them.

There are french soldiers in Central Africa, though why don't they deal with these rebels...
