A lawyer representing U.S. President Barack Obama has admitted the long-form birth certificate presented by the White House last year is a forgery – but that does not disqualify him from appearing on the ballot this November.

Defense attorney Alexandra M. Hill made the comments during a recent New Jersey ballot challenge hearing, brought about by Tea Party members who question his eligibility to appear on the state’s presidential primary ballot. Attorney for the plaintiffs, Mario Apuzzo, argued that President Obama has furnished proof of his “natural born” citizenship status to the state of New Jersey.

Apuzzo went on to say that Obama’s father was not an American citizen, meaning President Obama is not a “natural born” citizen and ineligible for the office he holds.

Apuzzo told CNAV during a recess in the hearing that this was the most stunning thing that any lawyer for Obama had ever admitted, in an Obama eligibility case or in any other case. When the hearing finally adjourned at 12:30 p.m., Apuzzo was confident of prevailing on this point. He observed that Hill, after objecting to everything that Apuzzo tried to introduce into evidence, offered no evidence on her own behalf and even admitted that the infamous PDF document was legally worthless.

A shocking turnabout
But the judge shocked Apuzzo when, at 6:26 p.m., Apuzzo opened his e-mail to find a message from Masin saying that the Obama campaign had prevailed on both points. Said the judge, in so many words:

As far as I’m concerned, Obama was born in Hawaii.

For years we’ve had to endure the mocking ridicule of Obama and the Leftwing media who called us conspiracy theorists and “birthers.” Obama knew damn well that wasn’t his genuine birth certificate and yet he carried on the pretense that it was.

This fact is obvious, Obama can not present any valid proof that he’s Constitutionally eligible to be the President or that he’s even a citizen, natural born or not. If he could, he would and that would be the end of it. Forged documents and smirking mockery not withstanding.

And what about all the people who knew about this and said nothing? From Obama himself to his lawyers and the Governor of Hawaii. They all took turns laughing at us for having valid doubts and speaking out. And now, we’re all supposed to accept that the joke was on us…Ha. Ha. Ha.

It sounds like people who aren't lawyers misread Alexandra Hill's lawyer speak as some kind of "admission".

Edit: I'd love to see an actual transcript of the hearing.
