The first is Drunk driving.

Perhaps you don't understand, but the vast majority of people are very willing (meaning most on these forums, too) to give up freedom for security.

Obama is playing to the broad masses of simpletons and winning them over with this sh**. Ron Paul would have to state his position and then spend over 30 seconds explaining it before the masses understand and then perhaps agree with Ron. Most would disagree with Ron however.

All Obama has to do is give a vague statement of he's going to do whatever it takes!

Most people would rather someone "do whatever it takes" than risk getting them or their kids shot in school just so every American can own a gun.

No one will believe this until it's too late. Anti-gun folks just don't get it.

By that time, they'll have forgotten that people were ever allowed to carry guns, much as people have forgotten that school was once not mandatory, and you actually had a say in your child's upbringing after the age of 6.

Here's a fact: The more laws you make, the more criminals you create. If people go about their lives unchanged, they'll be breaking the new laws by default!
