My birth certificate is dated back when I was born. It's got the doctor's name, hospital, etc., etc. That doc we see there has a Rev. date of 11/01. That means, 2001, not 1961!! Not only that, but that's a cert of live birth, not a birth certificate.

On Monday, December 8, 2008, at 1:30 pm, the We The People Foundation will conduct a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington D.C.

The licensed attorneys who initiated lawsuits in PA (Philip Berg), NJ (Leo Donofrio) and CA (Orly Taitz), challenging Mr. Obama's legal eligibility to hold the Office of President of the United States, will briefly summarize the facts, legal arguments and status of their cases. They will answer questions from the press.

Prior to the start of the conference, at 10 am, the Supreme Court of the United States is expected to announce whether it will consider applications from these attorneys who have asked the Court to delay the proceedings of the Electoral College pending a determination of the underlying constitutional question - the meaning of the "natural born citizen" clause of Article II of the Constitution and its application to Mr. Obama.

personally i've been following this for a few months now & i for one am GLAD the msm stayed off of it! why?

because as i read all the blurbs...the cases are being distorted. it's a good thing they didn't jump on this sooner because they are misquoting & misrepresenting left & right!!!!

leo & cort (yes a case at SCOTUS from CT not being mentioned as well) are on plainsradio on a regular basis & for the record leo has adamantly stated he will not do press...only radio.

Correct me if I'm wrong..but the N.J case involves his father. The one that matters as far as having an impact is the PA case which questions his outright birthplace. It's still not clear if this one isn't tinfoil crap.

I suspect all of it is tinfoil hat crap. One of the suits apparently claims Obama is ineligible because Obama's father was British. Another claims he's ineligible because he gave up his American citizenship when his family dragged him to Indonesia at age 6. The other is something about how Obama was born in Kenya, then flew back to Hawaii quickly and pretended to be born there to maintain his political viability.

BTW, this stuff is getting covered in the press- MSNBC was mocking it for about 5 minutes last night.

Right....I'm still skeptical as to how much legs it has.....the one everyone is getting excited about is about his father being Kenyan.

heard him tell the story on the radio that he originally thought the story about Obama not being a natural born citizen was nonsense and was looking at it to debunk it ... lo and behold, after investigating it for himself, he found out it was true and the rest is history.

I think there should be regulations on how long a President has been a citizen, but there are people who were born elsewhere who are just as capable and deserving to run, I'm sure. No, the founders understood that the presidency would be prime target for foreign influence. Personally, to say that in a nation of 150 million natural born citizens that we have to look to foreign born individuals for any high federal or state office is an insult to those 150 million native born citizens. People emigrating to this country should be focused on being productive new members (producing goods, not laws) and not want to join the political parasite class; if they have aspirations of political influence over others then they shouldn't have emigrated here.

Should be able to be done rather quickly if he signs a document and sends it to the secretary of state....

The whole columbia school records as a foreign citizen, registration papers...all of its as a whole does smell funny...

I disagree. But this can be changed if we get a Constitutional amendment passed. If you want to try, good luck, but know that I'll be opposing you so you won't get very far.
