I recommend those fleeing New York go to New Hampshire. The Carolinas are rough. This time of year bears pick up rattlesnakes and chase you. I was cutting wood this morning and had to fight one of those bears off with a chainsaw. Yep, New Hampshire would be more hospitable.

That would be a bad choice for those poor displaced people. In New Hampshire the winters are 50 below zero, arctic winds blow down from Mt. Washington from September to May. If you live near the seacoast, giant man-eating clams can burrow into your backyard. If you walk in the woods, mountain lions will drop from the trees and attack you and moose, while very majestik, are also very dangerous. A moose once bit my sister.
