The National Rifle Association ( NRA ) sold out the Second Amendment during the Patriot Act fight, criticizing Senator Rand Paul's amendment to exempt gun purchases from search provisions of the Patriot Act while sitting on information that the feds have already begun trolling the records of law-abiding gun owners.​

I canceled my NRA membership after the CARA bill. This is just one of a long list of betrayals towards the 2nd Amendment. The NRA is a hunting club, not a gun rights organization.
