Now the media is greatly exaggerating Huckabee's death, too

So, unless you really think Huckabee can stick it right through to the convention (I don't), when you complain about a lack of coverage see if Huckabee is in the same boat. If so, mention both names! Why? Because we're idealists, and because right's right and that's that.

Oh, yeah--and we need his supporters when he drops out. If we stick up for them, we're more likely to get them.

Well said!

While I believe that Huckabee did receive extra news mentions which led to his rise, I think the media has gone back to pretty much ignoring him, and I agree that we should strive for equal time for all candidates.

The media should quit choosing frontrunners for us!

I think MSM is always looking for a great duel and once things remotely look like there are two frontrunners they will report it as the only truth in the world.

The examples are Obama-Clinton and now Romney-McCain. All the other candidates (Edwards, Huckabee, Giuliani and Paul) will suffer from this tendency. Only little thing is that Paul never relied on Mainstream coverage, so we can survive that, while it will be quite deadly for other candidates.

I like the Huck people. They seem just as determined and hard working as we are, and they seem like really nice people. They also feel that their candidate is being unfairly treated, and I think he is.

Actually, Ron Paul could get alot of Huckabee supporters tonight at the debate. When they both are limited in talk time, he coul simply ask "Can Mike and I get in this debate?"

Love it! Huck actually got less time in the Florida debate than 9iu11iani despite coming in much stronger.

So it's back to business as usual for us :) I'm working a phone bank tomorrow night, will be at a community event this weekend handing out info and talk'n up a good show about Rou Paul and the "truth factor" that makes him stand out.

Huckabee's news coverage started to decrease when he became unable to pay their travel expenses. He had press traveling with him, he was paying for their air fare, hotel and probably for meals too.

I wonder what it would take for us to finance a press team that would travel with Ron Paul

Supposedly the media pay's their reporters way and none of that is financed by any campaign. The trick is you have to charter a plane all of the time that has enough seats to haul everyone around. The media then is supposed to kick in for the number of seats they use on the plane, pay for their own meals and hotels, etc. etc. etc.

We won counties in Iowa because the boots on the ground had been there all summer long meeting people, having events, working the farmers market with a weekly table ( they inspired us to do a table recently ). The main stream media is not interested in the message of individual freedom... period.

When we become the media and get the good news out... we will win. The old farmer knew how to get the cows into the barn (he didn't need fancy lights and had no need for yell'n and hollar'n) He just put good feed in the barn and the cows walked right in.

Remember that protest video we saw where a Ron Paul group not only had a sign wave, they actually rented out an adjecent hotel room and handed out free hot coco and info to everyone they saw... we can make a difference.
