Reindustrialization is probably just as important.
For decades we have been deindustrialized and invaded.
There's a new global order and a bloc of nations that are anti American and our national security is at stake if we are not able to produce our own energy and technology and food and medicine and military equipment domestically so we can defend our country from their threats.
If we cannot defend our country then they will just take it without firing a shot.

Not sure about that. Republicans had landslide victories back in 2021 but no red wave in 2022. I suspect the same will happen to the Democrats.

In the antebellum South there were white people who didn't own slaves who were still a part of the slave economy. They were the overseers. Today we call that position "middle management." Here is a story I learned in a law school seminar class on "race and the law." It was the story of Negro Will. Will was a slave that invented and improved hoe. (We're talking weed whacking hoe, not street walking hoe). One day the white overseer said to Will "Will, I need you to let another slave use your hoe." Will said "No. This is my hoe." The overseer said "You're a slave and I'm your overseer and you're going to do what I say." Will said "Nobody uses my hoe but me" and with that broke the hoe. The overseer got mad and proceeded to try to beat Will. Will pimp slapped that overseer so hard that it killed him. Before the overseer died he was able to tell another white man what happened. Will wasn't lynched. He was given a trial. His owner paid the lawyer fees. Believe or not, Will got acquitted. The court determined that even though Will was a slave he still had a right to self defense. Yep. Will got away will killing a white man. Later on in life Will killed another slave, was found guilty and hanged. His wife said "They let my Will off for killing a white man but hung him for killing a n-word." I am NOT making this story up.

So, why did Will's owner pay for his defense? The same reason the owner of any animal will pay to keep that animal from being put down. Will was property. Losing property costs money. You can always hire another overseer. How are your pockets picked today? Online I always see MAGAs praising Trump as some great businessman even though he's had 257 million in debt forgiven but then act like student loan debt forgiveness is highway robbery. I see Republicans, Trump and even Rand Paul, pushing the idea of upping the retirement age to "save Social Security" when really the only way to save it would be mass immigration to bring in young workers to offset the birth rate shortfall. I see white people getting upset when dying towns like Springfield Ohio are revitalized and the per captita crime rate goes does (since you CLAIM to care about per capita) from the hard working, drug free Haitians who came in because Trump and JD Vance lied about people "eating cats and dogs" and made up a story about somehow they were being "dumped" in Springfield when the truth is they simply found out about the manufacturing jobs word of mouth. I see white Republicans who have been convinced to be anti union because "right to work" all of a sudden be pro union when it's time to say "We don't want no Taiwanese pipe fitters helping to bring the Taiwan semiconductur plant online faster." Speaking of Taiwan, supposedly were gearing up to fight a war with China by 2038. That would mean World War 2 levels of casualties or worse. Not to mention the economic devistation. It's insane as hell. But we don't want China to take over Taiwan. Why? Because Taiwan manufactures most of our chips. There's a simple solution to that. Taiwan's land mass is less than any of the 50 states. (Yes I checked). It has 25 million people. Only 48% want independence. Most favor the status quo (80%). If China REALLY wants to take Taiwan, and if the Taiwanese who are over TSMC (that's the stock symbol, I own a little and it's doing great) don't want to live under Chinese rule, let them move here and bring their infrastructure with them. Right now that's 83,825 employees. Multiply that be 4 for family members. Trump already said he wants to bring in 600,000 Chinese for the universities. That makes a hell of a lot more since than trying to bring over 67,000 racist white South African farmers that offer who offer nothing but someone for racists white people in America to marry.
Of course you won't see it that way for the exact reason LBJ said you wouldn't. You're just middle management.

It wasn't simply monetary inflation it was their policies causing prices of everything to go up.
They left the borders open which caused a shortage in housing and rents and housing prices to skyrocket.
They caused oil prices to skyrocket because of their energy policy because of the green new deal and oil and high energy costs increase the price of everything.
Even at current spending levels if democrats were in power we would have even more inflation and a smaller economy.

What they don't say when there is mass starvation is that the people who survive it do it by eating their children and their old.
If the taxes in our country weren't cut and our energy costs continued to rise we could have done that.
High energy prices destroy the standard of living of people. It forces people to have to pay back debts using dollars that are more valuable than when the money was originally borrowed since modern economys are so energy dominant.
It caused a lot of people to lose their cars and in the USA having a car is part of the culture and its a way of life.

The democrats green new deal and open borders was the biggest scam in history.
It increased the energy costs on the economy so much it effectively ended up making the real cost we pay for everything go up 400%.
It made housing unaffordable.
It was effectively atleast a 400% tax increase on the value of dollars in which we make payments on the interest of the debt and it was forcing people to eat their children and the elderly to survive and forced families to work 100s of hours a week to live.
They even made it to where you never basically never got to clock out for work and you had to work outside of your clocked in hours because you always had to answer the phone or emails 24 hours a day.
People were committing suicide because of this shit.
It was turning our country into a third world country.
