November 10th Republican debate on Fox Business Network - Official Thread

I wasn't a Ron supporter in 08. I'm starting to think this performance could be like Ron vs Rudy: Great for supporters but ultimately mean nothing.

I thought Rand did well but he could have pushed Rubio even further by telling Rubio that he's a liberal spender just like Hillary. Had Rand openly invoked Hillary's name in his retort to Rubio, I think that would have caused Rubio to lose his cool and really snap. This is something Rand should consider doing in future debates.

He's winning a lot of trending topics and doing great in polls now. If anything this helps to give him some positive coverage to help bring over some undecided people or those with soft support and dispel ideas of him being fringe or unfavorable

He is saving that for the January debates where he really has to shine before the Iowa Caucus.

Cruz ticks me off.

He said "sound money", "gold standard", and "eliminate five departments".

He is using Ron's words to get attention but he doesn't even get it.

Not on Fox Business, that's what I'm watching. It's essentially everyone but him being interviewed. Maybe he declined them?

According to the FOX Facebook instant reaction, Rand was NUMBER ONE among men, and number FOUR among women! HE ROCKED IT!

This is why I keep harping on appearance. A white shirt might have nudged him a bit higher. Television is, duh, a visual media. How a candidate looks counts for a lot. As the only real blonde on the stage, Rand needs the high contrast of a bright white shirt.

That what I think he did. They probably told him he would be interviewed last, and he said no thanks.

re: Ben Carson

Q: What do you call the person who graduated last from medical school?

A: Doctor.

I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but the questions I heard were actually very good (none of that what is your favorite color crap like that one debate). And the all around equal speaking time is impressive, like they actually went to the trouble of tallying up seconds. I'm actually impressed by Fox for once.

Rand needs to keep bringing up that stat about spending more than the next 10 countries combined. Anyone with common sense can see that is excessive no matter how "dangerous" the world is.

The problem as I see it is no matter how well Rand does tomorrow
The media will pretend he doesn't exists
Until all the voters who only get their info from tv wake up or die off
We are all doomed.

Whenever they show clips of Trump saying "why does she keep interrupting?", the lead up starts with Rand saying we don't need to run around the world getting involved in civil wars.
