'Not Our Fight!': Trump Weighs In On Syria's Unraveling

image-98.png
Are you back to supporting Massie now? I thought at one point in time you had no use for him.

trump is all for Israel

& Israel is taking NEW syrian land & bombing the F out of the place

joy to the world

Trump was nearly alone inside the entrenched power structure of the swamp, he had the Ds and the RINOs trying to impeach him for supposedly being a Russian agent.
He did remarkably well and will do better with more support this time.

What did Trump do after the DoD refused his orders?

Nothing?

Don't forget the inevitable genocide of the Syrian christians.

Not one F will be given in any of the protestant churches in 'murika.

I fear you are correct. American Christians are largely blinded, deaf & dumb

I have problems with Massie, but even he knows Trump was against interfering in Syria and the deepstate defied him.
Since so many people here treat him as the voice of god I thought they should have to deal with what he said.

He reduced our presence and activity as much as he could get them to.
He also cut off funding and support for their proxies and used the military faction to destroy the CIA ISIS faction.

He deployed more troops, hid the number of deployed troops from the American people, and gave the CIA more funding and more autonomy.

The president can fire any military officer at will. If they disobeyed him and prevented him from doing the thing that he really wanted to do, why didn't he do absolutely anything about it?

BINGO

He did not deploy more troops, the Pentagon did and lied to him about withdrawing troops.
You can't fire the deepstate at will when your own party is dangling impeachment over your head and accusing you of being a foreign agent right along with the opposition.
Look what happened when he simply asked Ukraine to investigate corruption as a condition for aid.

Rep. Thomas Massie believes the US government orchestrated—or at the very least facilitated—regime change in Syria.

“The timing is definitely not a mistake.”

Massie pointed out how dozens of jets and helicopters were conveniently bombed by Israel the same week that regime change occurred in Syria.

“Basically, what these terrorists couldn’t do, other people in the Middle East hurried up and did here in this last week to make sure that Assad didn’t have the typical resources that a government would have to respond to these threats,” Massie explained.

“It’s clear as day to me [that the US was involved],” Massie concluded. “And whether it was led by the United States or whether we just encouraged it, the timing is definitely not a mistake. When you find a turtle on a fence post, it didn’t get there by accident.”

“Remember, Tulsi Gabbard was in Congress, and she and I collaborated on a lot of these efforts to stop the U.S. meddling in Syria. And now she’s been named as the head of DNI. Well, I think that was the signal to the Deep State to go in for the kill and get this over with because Trump and some of his nominees… are not going to carry on the policies of Obama and the Deep State,” Massie said.

Wormtongue, do you really want to through this whole thing again? Thread after thread you deny what you've already admitted is reality.

Trump deployed more troops to the Middle East. Repeatedly. Throughout his presidency. And he ended his term with more troops overseas than when he started.

It sounds like what you're saying is that he did literally nothing, like I said.

He paid some lip service to his base by saying he'd do something, then didn't follow through.

Just like nearly everything else that he does.

Look what happened when he simply asked Ukraine to investigate corruption as a condition for aid.

Maybe if he focused on governing instead of obsessing over some people who said mean things about him he'd be more effective.

Wormtongie, (that funny)

Excuses are over. He will be commander in chief again in a few weeks

Let’s see what he does with this incredible power

Peace

That's just it. I didn't think that you noticed, or would even admit to that.

As a condition for aid...

If you want further funding for education...

We're going to pull out unless you start paying your fair share for NATO...

He's not going to eliminate a d@mned thing. All he wants to do is force people to comply, which they will, otherwise cut off the free stuff, which he won't.

He wants government to be more "efficient", knock off a few federal employees, and make sure that his Public-Private Partnership contracted people directly get the bulk of the money. All in exchange for techno-authoritarian "solutions".

Just to inform you, Trump knows nothing at all about Austrian Economics, nor the Bill of Rights, let alone endorse them, how on earth is he going to abide by them. Ask Palantir Peter Thiel, Fed-Contracted Elon Musk and BuyMySurvellienceApparatusForCovid Swampy for advice?

It's already happening before he even takes office again:

Mike Lee sponsoring digital ID surveillance laws for app stores

Congress passed the aid, and the events showed they would have impeached him for stopping it, they tried to impeach him for holding it up to get Ukraine to investigate corruption that affected us.

He's going to eliminate government agencies, he and the people around him have already made that quite clear.
He's not going to implement authoritarian garbage.

That's false, I never admitted any such thing and I proved you were wrong.

He did what he could and gave us the best results in living memory, he'll do even better this time.

Total disconnection from reality on your part.

Here's a little reality:

Trump famously levied unprecedented sanctions against Russia, targeted the Nord Stream 2 Pipeline, enacted the CAESAR Act of 2019 against Syria, and imposed a whole swath of additional sanctions against the Venezuelan Maduro government in 2017.

Trump has also tapped Mike Walz as his National Security Advisor nominee. Early November, Walz stated that Trump’s plan to end the Ukraine war should consist of “intensifying sanctions against Russia” and “taking the handcuffs off,” implying that the Biden administration’s support of Ukraine has been in some way restrained.

Trump also picked Marco Rubio as his Secretary of State nominee. Rubio is an avowed neocon who has yet to see a sanctions bill he didn’t approve of. He is deeply committed to imposing continued sanctions regimes on Cuba and Venezuela. Rubio also famously lamented Brazil and China’s deal to settle trade deals in Reals and Yuans stating that “they are creating a secondary economy totally independent of the United States…there will be so many countries transacting in currencies other than the dollar that we won’t have the ability to sanction them.”
