I was just watching CNN and they were talking about the Pakistani terrorist attacks. They were then talking about how this could affect the GOP race and they said that many undecided Republicans in Iowa that were interviewed stated that we have been worrying about taxes and immigration so much that we have forgotten about terrorism and CNN then concluded that is why Rudy Guiliani may get a big boost out of this and it may show in Iowa's caucus. Your thoughts?

Propaganda. Rudy [as well as the Bush administration] failed horribly when it came to terrorism and 9/11. But they turn it arond and say Rudy is a hero/leader, and "thank God we haven't been attacked since 9/11, all thanks to Bush" [nevermind the fact that we were attacked while Bush was president...]. It's all propaganda. I thought they'd given up on Giuliani, but I guess not.

In general, people are most concerned with terrorism when it's happening in their own backyard...not when it's taking place halfway around the world in countries most Americans can't even find on a map.

Illegal immigration strikes a nerve with people because it's something they're seeing on a regular basis and which has come to affect them directly (towns, cities, hospitals becoming overcrowded; increase in violent crime etc)

Yep, they've been pushing this ALL DAY on the talk radio shows...They are stupid enough to mention that CERTAIN REPUBLICANS should not be trusted to be the next President...Duh, I wonder who they're referring to?

Anyway, don't you think the average Joe will start wondering WHY these neocon Republicans are willing to eat one of THEIR OWN??? Medved even went so far as to say that only Rudy and McCain should be the next President....And that RP is a nut.
