Nominate Ron Paul for CATO's 2008 Milton Friedman Prize for Advancing Liberty!!!!!

We need a full mobilization of participation to get RP nominated.

Milton Friedman Prize for Advancing Liberty

Thank you for your nomination of Dr. Ron Paul for the Milton Friedman Prize for Advancing Liberty.

The 2010 winner will be announced on the Cato Institute website next spring, shortly before the Milton Friedman Prize for Advancing Liberty's Biennial Dinner, May 13, 2010, at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C.

My submission.

Individual Freedom and Liberty is what our country was founded on. Ron Paul has been a champion of both. His whole life and most notably, since entering Congress he has made Freedom and Liberty the centerpiece of his life .

Ron Paul's presidential run in 2008 finally brought the concept of Liberty and Freedom to the masses. He reminded them of what our forefathers espoused and today, he is known affectionately as the Refounding Father

Question?

CATO are sell outs and it's incredibly ironic for them of all groups to give out an award for "advancing liberty," but if they are why not nominee Ron? He deserves it more than anyone else.

I'm curious to know how CATO sold out exactly?

It is worth a try :-)

CATO will never ever nominate Ron Paul.
There is too much rivalry with the Mises Institute.

But it's worth a try. :)

I'm trying read hard to find some evidence of where Ron Paul was seriously dissed by the CATO Institute.

Here is a video with CATO's David Boaz on Glenn Beck:
YouTube - Glenn Beck: David Boaz discusses 'The Ron Paul Effect'
In that video, Glenn Beck comes off as the most disrespectful in the fist half of the video. But that was back in 2008. Since Ron Paul supporters have organized and really pushed Ron Paul and other candidates; Rand Paul, Peter Schiff, Judge Napolitano and other freedom activists have flooded Glenn Back's show. People come around, Ron Paul supporters just need to be aggressive and persistent. So I agree that it's, "worth a try".

The CATO Institute has allowed Ron Paul to speak about the GM Bailout and Auditing the Fed:
YouTube - Ron Paul: Who Feels Good About General Motors?
YouTube - Ron Paul calls for Federal Reserve Audit at the Cato Institute

Please email me at [email protected] if you know anybody who is good at webdesign and/or video editing. So we can fully mobilize participation in getting Ron Paul nominated for the Milton Friedman prize. Thank you!

Ron Paul is the greatest force within the Republican Party for reducing the government’s oppressive influence on the free-market.
