NEWSPAPER AD: last minute push: You in or out??

We are $1,730 for a full page. We are over $1,300 (I believe) for the half-page.
 
I don't know if this has been said or not but it might be a good idea to make sure that it is stated on the ad some where that it is not an approved ad by the RP campaign. ;)

The disclaimer we used for the 1st newspaper ad, will go in here.
 
If this ad goes in - the campaign

must buy a bunch of copies and have the good DR. sign them in John Hancock style, If someone has the IOWA email, please let me know, I will email them once this is a "go" and let them know they are missing a great fundraising opportunity to auction signed copies of this ad at their rallys or ebay.
 
I am not an expert on the FEC rules, but I do know that we have to keep what WE do, completely separate from the campaign. You can thank McCain-Feingold. We cannot get advice from them about what we want to do, we cannot tell them what we are planning to do. Nothing.
 
I'm going to have to be out-of-pocket until late afternoon. I'm sure Lord Xar will be on here soon.
 
Let's leave off the "1000" number. The sheer number of photos speaks for itself. "1000" sounds like ONLY 1000.

It's looking like we'll have enough for full page, or darn close to it. Let's go for it.

Now we just need to know from Xar if the paper comes out in the morning or not. If afternoon, we should try for Friday. Agree? Thoughts?
 
I would just like to say that you guys have done a great job, and I have a suggestion--keep that image at the ready! I just KNOW the campaign would love that image and would probably find ways to use it as well. Billboards, TV ads, who knows what else. :)
 
Well... If it comes out Friday afternoon then will it still be read by people on Saturday morning, when they go to vote?

Also wondering, will you accept new pictures to the mosaic? I'm thinking we can get a quick story off to digg about "Get your picture in the newspaper for Ron Paul!" to up the number of photos.
