I pledge $20.

<top> We are the Ron Paul Revolution

<bottom> Restore the Republic

"We Are Ron Paul"
"Take Back Our Country"
"Vote Ron Paul this Saturday in Ames"

I'm in..I can't give you much...but I'm in.

I could go $100.

"We Are Ron Paul" [smaller] Ron Paul for President or Vote Ron Paul Ames Straw Poll

Inserts might be a good idea, especially if we can get better dpi. But do they make the same impression?

What's the dpi resolution on the image? It's gonna need to be a minimum of 230, 300 would be better.

Give me the specs you need and I can crank out another one if this one isn't high enough. I honestly don't know what I set it at when I made this one.
Also if there are specific dimensions needed I can get as close as possible with out warping the image.

I commit to donate at least $50.

Do we have a total amount yet?

Also, credit where it is due, the image itself comes from razmear at ronpaulmosaic.com. The source photos are from rally.ronpaulplanet.org.

It might be nice to put a link to ronpaulmosaic.com in small text somewhere in the ad so that people can check out the source image for themselves on their computers.

And of course ronpaul2008.com.

It's currently at 72dpi, with a print size of 25" x 29.167".

I rescaled it to 300dpi, with a print size of 8" x 9.33".

At that resolution, the mosaic itself looks OK, but as many of the individual pics were at much, much lower rez, some of 'em look kind of blurry. At 8x10", they're really small anyway.

What size is the ad going to be?

I have no control over the smaller pics, they are at whatever res they were uploaded at to the rally site. I can only tweak the output image.

How 'bout something like....

"The talking heads tell us Ron Paul can't win. We don't believe them."

Who is Ron Paul?

We need a lot more $ if we're going to do this

The money has to come about by tomorrow, if we're going to place this ad.

Anymore pledges? :)

I could up mine a little if we look like we'll get close. Let's get a tally in the morning.

What would a full-page color cost, Xar? I'm thinking you might not see the pictures with a 1/2 page. Maybe out of our league, but doesn't hurt to check. Next option is a "full page" insert. (Is that 11" x 14"?)

Any printers on here? What would 5,000 full color copies cost? (What's the distribution in Ames?)

or maybe better...
