nah i havent got a clue about politics here or aussie even hah. i got a pretty good grasp on the constitution and politics in U.S now tho XD

Welcome! Glad to see some Kiwi's here! I have been telling a friend of mine in Tauranga about Ron Paul.

Ive got some relations in Florida and New York ive been trying to turn onto Ron Paul. But I think the MSM has them too twisted :/ They stuck on hillary and obama still. But ima keep trying :D

Yeah, it is hard to break through to the people propagandized by the MSM. Hillary is such a socialist, Obama will not even say the American Pledge of Allegiance!

ah ok, I volunteer for ACT who are probably the closest to RP here in NZ.
as i mentioned in my first post, i know quite a few RP fans now - most of them are ACT supporters that I have introduced to Ron :)
let me know if you wanna get involved or just want some info - I can email you some stuff if you want.

Yeah, our political system (MMP if you want to google it) is friendlier to parties other than the big two as opposed to in the US where the system encourages (or even neccessitates) a two party system - it's almost impossible for a 3rd party to win seats never mind something like the presidency.

Email me at xxxxx and we can discuss further - I don't want to clog up the RP forum too much :D

Im in Christchurch

I just love it that Paul is actually standing up and speaking outloud everyones thoughts...you need to do that to break apathy...and the campaign is getting a roll on.

AM not a political member here although I think Winston is our Ron Paul...he broke the old boys club of National maybe into oblivion..hes hung in there..stated his case in the face of turbulent opposition and hes still there!!!

I have a friend who lives in Kaiapoi who has invited me to come over for a vacation and stay with him and his family. One of these day's i'm going to take him up on that and go spend some time in NZ.

Kia Ora teamsters,

I've got a meet-up group in Auckland..small but young (formatively speaking)..meeting tomorrow night actually. So its a delight to meet you all.

Lets keep chatting

Who considers the closing of the Spy Bases at Waihopai and Tangimoana to be a significant issue?
What about the economic santions for not embracing Nuclear power?

Wow, so cool to see other Ron Paul supporters from NZ!

I've been talking to some American friends and they're definitely warming to him, even though they are quite strong democrats. Hopefully I'll be able to seal the deal.

What was really good though was just telling other (non-American) friends about Ron Paul, and having them come up to me later to tell me that they'd told American friends of theirs about him, and that their American friends were now Ron Paul supporters! It's amazing how fast the word can go around.

Anyone in Auckland? Come to our meet-up group. Let me know if you are interested.
