They have come along way from the first MTV music video I recall watching when I found MTV on our TV dial.

Petar your avatar actually made my eyes water, and made me frown. A lot.

I can't believe I just watched that whole thing
Awesome song.
Shannon Hoon died too early
'course, I'm an old enough fart to have seen this, the very first time:
YouTube - Buggles - Video killed the radio star 1979
Yeah! MTVs first viddy! don't worry, I remember it too.![]()
That video is further proof that pop music is dead. It wasn't even a good storyline.
I'm sorry, but you are wrong.
Lady Gaga is a girl who went to the best art school, worked her ass off, got the best grades, and continued working her ass off, writing pop hits for other artists, such as Britney Speers, before she decided to turn herself into a pop star...by working her ass off.
She isn't even cookie cutter pretty (her face anyway), and yet she managed to take over an entire industry which is completely dominated by people with symmetrical faces.
Lady Gaga is one of the only pop stars who actually writes her own lyrics, does her own wardrobe, and handles her own choreography, so I'm sorry, you are wrong, but that's ok, no one is perfect.
I never even heard of this person until Drudge headlined her a few weeks ago.
Man I'm glad that I don't own a TV. People are entertained by some strange crap these days.
Michael Jackson (say what you want about his private life, but damn he made some great music!), etc.
