I can't believe there are supporters that don't like this ad. Those guys have no idea how to win a campaign.

Yea, really. People are complaining that attack ads are what is ruining American politics and Schiff is horrible for doing this. Well, I tell them, what do you think McMahon would do if she won?? Attack Blumethal. What does every candidate do and MUST do for the vast majority of races in order to win. Attack ads.

i can't stand reading youtube comments because most of them piss me off. ahh. i just want to argue in person with all these people so i can through their thick skulls.

I am the same way but keep in mind that the comments section is not very representative. I once had a guy from YouTube speak to our class and he said that far less than 1% of viewers leave comments - and as you can guess those that do are generally the ones with lots of free time on their hands.

But I agree the comments are annoying. Even on videos as non controversial as NBA highlights.

Ad order reversal

Normally you lead with introductory ads before going negative but if this can work in the final week it will have to simultaneously pound McMahon and raise curiosity about who Peter is. Then, with the voter base burning with curiosity about him and eager to knock McMahon out of the nomination, an introductory ad in the final days might work. It would be an upset for the record books if it works.

If you're in Fairfield or New Haven county, it's likely that you aren't seeing these ads yet because the ad buy has surely focused more on central, western, and northern CT.
