the official campaign spent at least 17 million last quarter--most of it in the last half of the quarter. That's like over 7 million a month. What the hell is this extra million a month really going to do. Whatever.
You want to raise 50 million or even way more? Simple (AFTER MARCH 4TH OF COURSE): just declare an independent run. You might get 500,000 donors. Then you can have 7 months to fill hundreds of thousands of precinct captain slots (especially since we'd get back the 30 or more states that have already voted). And we could go after the really fertile ground of independents and democrats instead of the Republicans who won't give us more than 10 percent (you know we're polling double our GOP numbers in the polls that ask who you'd vote for in the General Election, if Paul ran independent).
But no, I forgot--we're going to win at the convention.
