So are the people of New Mexico going to drag this woman out of her home and give her a good tar and feathering or will they just stand around like a bunch of pissants? I'm guessing it's going to be the latter.

Why is it "not" enforceable?

New Mexico is not a constitutional carry state.

Your "permit" status comes up if a state cop runs your plates.

No problem to pull you over and toss you and your vehicle for "illegal carry".

Or, just throw up some random checkpoints and roadblocks, a daily occurrence all across the land of the free, randomly search people.

Once you throw 20 or 30 people in prison the rest will fall in line.

It will never hold up in court. Everyone knows that. Yes, they may jail a few people short term if they can even get law enforcement to follow it, which it seems they will not. I'm not particulary concerned about it.

Some of them have been imprisoned for years now.

But, it's nothing to be concerned about.

My money is on that this largely unknown creature, Michelle Lujan Grisham, is less concerned about her "public health crisis" than she is about finding a way to introduce herself to the national stage of progressive wanna-be's in the upcoming Klamidiah Harris administration.

Klamidiah's team can always use a fresh-faced wise latina to help transform Amerika.
 
Albuquerque, NM – Today, the National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR) and Foster Haines (NAGR member and Albuquerque resident) filed a lawsuit against Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and Secretary of Health Patrick Allen for Executive Order 2023-130 and a subsequent Public Health Emergency Order issued by the Secretary, which bans the public carry of firearms in Albuquerque for 30 days.

Plaintiffs are asking for a Temporary Restraining Order and a repeal of the Order.

NAGR argues the Order is unconstitutional on the merits of the Supreme Court’s ruling NYSRPA v. Bruen, which held New York’s ban on the public carry of firearms unconstitutional. Bruen also held that any gun regulation that does not fall into the text, history, and tradition of the Second Amendment is unconstitutional.

“Gov. Luhan Grisham is throwing up a middle finger to the Constitution and the Supreme Court,” said Dudley Brown, President of the National Association for Gun Rights. “Her Executive Order is in blatant disregard for Bruen. She needs to be held accountable for stripping the God-given rights of millions away with the stroke of a pen.”

I knew the cases against the J6 people were solid and would get convictions. Yeah the sentences were excessive but they were caught on video guilty.

I meant they may be able to arrest a few people with this and hold them, but there is no chance of a conviction. This is nothing but grandstanding.

For the record I do NOT think you are jerking me off, you are serious.

And your views are also in the vast majority of American citizen's views.

Are you waiting for a "ruling" by a court? I don't make guarantees on others behalf, but I am almost sure that it won't stand, so the by-product will be that you are safe. But what if it does hold up in court?

No I don't think this is a serious problem. I think a far left governor has overplayed her hand and there will be pushback. It's never going to hold up in court. Not a chance.

Of course not.

Ideally I would like to see wholesale, massive and public civil disobedience by every armed citizen in New Mexico...hell unarmed as well.

I'd like that followed up by every American supporting them, in person or financially, both of which actions government has shown they will put you in prison for.
