Maybe he can go back out there and give them rides in his plane.

DMR polls shows basically the same thing. And its good news to Rand because he's getting real pressure now from McConnell to pull the plug on his Presidential campaign and just focus on Senate re-election (whose funds he's been using to put in his Presidential campaign account, none to the pleasure of the lobbyists who have contributed to that account and are backing other candidates). He can show he's starting to get traction in the polls which hadn't been before.

Not a lot of second choices for Rand. But the latest poll numbers are showing the campaign isn't quite as dead as it is being portrayed as.

Who said that? An 'unnamed Republican strategist' ?

LOL Trump is really starting to sink. In the words of Montgomery Burns, "Another biting the dust? Excellent!"

Rand's FB page mentions him in 3rd in a new NH poll and 4th in a new Iowa poll but doesn't say from whom.

Anyone?

If Rand passes Bush in polling and they continue to ask him if he's going to drop out, he can then ask the media why they're not asking Jeb Bush if he's going to drop out too.

Is that what Politico said? Quoting anonymous sources from rival campaign strategists again?

I remember like a month ago, Trump lost like 7 points in a poll and I felt like immediately the media started covering him 24/7 again. Today, I noticed the media has been talking about how everyone seems to agree now, that Trump CAN actually win. I wonder if this is what they're going to push now to make sure he doesn't fall yet.

You guessed it, not worth talking about. Why do people still take Politico seriously? It's always anonymous sources.

As the pollsters continue to realize that the younger demographic WILL be showing up to vote the higher Rand's poll numbers will start to go. When in reality Rand, like Ron has been there the whole time but they know they have to cut off the over 50 crowd who might vote for him, but sense he's got "no chance" they don't want to waste their vote. Rand is going to get his surge, but their strategy is to attempt to convince those over 50 that he has no shot so there's no point in voting for him. I suppose you have to take the good with the bad, but even though Rand will be the"peeking" at the right time could still be at a big disadvantage due to how the MSM has been covering him the whole time. They know for a fact Rand will do no worse than 3rd on election night, but they are sure going to do their damdus to convince everyone otherwise. I feel like their using the same playbook they did on Ron against Rand. I just hope the campaign/Rand knows this and has some sort of counter if there is one. This might be the only positive we can take from Trump being in the race in that hopefully they'll be focusing time and resources on him and not Rand.

If Rand were getting pressure from McConnell it would be very quiet. I have not heard of anyone even mounting a run against him. It might be Januaty before anything comes out of the woodwork. I'd say if he doesn't do very well in Iowa and immediately poll well in NH then he'd get a call from Mitch. Mitch is not going to publicly pressure Rand right now when he's openly supporting Beavin (who is turning into a real ?) for Gov. Watch out for Hal Rodgers though. He hates Rand and I don't think he's real fond of Massie.

Fox had a big piece on Ted Cruz on Special Report. Very favorable. It made me nauseous.
