New Hampshire poll: Trump surging

I think some folks ;) are panicking prematurely. We haven't even had a debate. All the candidates aren't even in the race yet. We have a long way to go.

Lol @ everyone thinking Rand was more electable than Ron. All that selling out has you at 4% in the poll in NEW HAMPSHIRE. What was Ron at this time of last election again? Rand the "strategic mastermind who is playing chess" is getting creamed and his campaign is DOA. This whole liberty movement is going to go out with a whimper thanks to Rand Paul and his boring, milquetoast, and increasingly irrelevant campaign.

The media determines what the low-knowledge voters think. They know Trump, probably better than any other single candidate, because many people have seen him on TV for decades. The media spins a couple of candidates as "good" or "safe", they spin one candidate as "dangerous".

But yeah, it must be Rand's fault for the entire liberty movement going out with a "whimper".

I just saw a report with "Campaign" Carl Cameron that showed results of a new Fox News poll. Rand was tied for 4th with Walker at 9%, behind Bush, Trump and Carson.

But Bernie and Trump are so awesome!!!!

Guys and girls there will be serious movement within the national and state by state polls for months to come as people enter, leave and fuck up somewhere down the line.

But I'm shocked Rand is only at 4%. Rand is going to have to CONNECT to the establishment primary voter in some way shape or form. Hint, it's NOT college voters...

Exactly, Brian! The Liberty Movement is you. Take charge. If you don't think much of the liberty movement around you, look in the mirror. It's up to each man to be his own personal "liberty movement."

Yep. Everybody needs to do their part. For the record, I think that the liberty movement has made great advances.

This poster seems to think that all is lost:

If that sort of poster actually did think all was lost, they wouldn't be wasting their time telling us so. No, they don't think we've already lost. They just want us to think that.

Well not for nothing, but I recall that during the Ron Paul campaigns people here were pretty dismissive of the polls thinking there was no way they could be accurate. Since we were decimating every online poll on the internet, they had to be wrong. In the end, they turned out to be pretty damn spot on. So this does actually concern me a bit.

FOX News poll this morning but Bush at 14% and Donald at 12% . As soon as the primary is over, I will drop my republican affiliation. The mere fact that Bush is at 14% among republicans scares the living crap out of me.

If the openly hard core establishment vote is down to 14%, we are making excellent progress. Compare that to what Romney or George Herbert Walker Bush were pulling back in their runs. And as others have pointed out, Trump surging is actually a great sign for the movement. Because it isn't Trump's hair that is winning over voters. When he first got in to this thing, there was no excitement for his candidacy at all. I'd wager the vast majority of voters still find him personally off putting and obnoxious. But he is winning people over anyway, all on the strength of his stridently anti-establishment policy positions. Trump's success is proof positive that the electorate is moving in our direction. If Rand were running a Dave Brat style liberty campaign, he'd be dominating right now.

it does look like NBC won't be airing episodes of THE APPRENTICE.
the last time around, Donald Trump was torn between wanting to
run for public office and his "pet project" that had made NYC look
very attractive & fun for out of town tourists. lets wait until a few
of the debates happen before we think we can see the writing on
the wall. i actually think Senator Rand Paul is very well positioned
and maybe he just might be the person who will be debating either
Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden. I am still trying to figure out why the
better contenders in the Democrat Party are OLDER than our POTUS!

Indeed, Hillary will be 69 next year, Biden and Sanders are 73. If Rand or Rubio becomes the Republican nominee, they can make it into the White House based on the "new hotness" factor alone.
