New CBS/New York Times Poll: Rand in fifth place with 4%

And here's the graphic being shown currently:

Now don't that look familiar. hmm. seems like something like that happened with some IA straw poll results......

Somebody with a twitter account should tweet MSNBC DIRECTLY and also include "@RandPaul" in the comment about this.

I concur. A tweet is one thing, but without directly speaking to the parties involved, it's just a tweet, even if MSNBC or RandPaul don't see it. It would at least be on their radar.

Actually, I think Bush will end up with the nomination at the end of it all.

Nope. New prediction. It will be Paul Ryan. They will ensure that no candidate gets the required number of delegates and the RNC will trot out Paul Ryan in a brokered convention.

But you know...let's just blame Rand for not being a good enough candidate.

How do you do a tweet on this forum?

Wouldn't be a great surprise. Ryan was the (failed) VP candidate in the last election, so in the grand tradition of the "Grand Old Party", it's "his turn"

That could happen. I suppose I could live with that and vote for Ryan against the Clintons.

That gives him several months as speaker of the house to become unelectable. The omnibus spending bill is a good start.

Brokered convention will lean heavily towards candidates that are considered establishment. Bush, Rubio, Christie (if he hasn't dropped out by then), Rand is on the short list but something crazy has to happen for them to consider Rand over Bush and Rubio. Florina is running for VP.

Everyone else won't be accepted by the convention delegates.

No matter how hard Trump/Cruz/Paul supporters try, they won't outnumber establishment delegates, those people have been in the game way too long, they will have a healthy majority and they know what they are doing, its almost a given.

Rand Paul was just on Lou Dobbs show on FoxBusiness (talking mostly about immigration and how incompetent they've been about vetting the people that come here).

At the end of the interview, Lou congratulated Rand for being in the top five of this poll.

Somebody in the MSM willing to give Rand some well deserved love!!

At least one person who actually read the polls. I am wondering why the campaign does not contact Hannity and MSNBC to complain? Why do we have to do that? I mean, sure it is nice for the grassroots to be active, but what the heck is the campaign doing to correct these things?
