The problem is its not given from precinct to media. It all goes to another location to be verified and totaled. That area is where most of the problems occur.

Yea. I am from Croatia and in our elections few millions of votes are counted by hand within 5 hours. I really cant understand how can it happen that 9 (or was it 8) trucks of votes go missing and no one does anything about it (Iowa).... and now this.

Yeah same in Sweden. The public is allowed to go and visit the counting at any time. The votes are counted at the voting place, and then at another place to be verified. And then it's roughly 5 millions votes or so that are to be counted.

There we're some claims of voterfraud, regarding 100-3000 votes last election, and they did atcually have a re-election in that area.

what this comes down to imho is that we can't get the youth out to vote. early on CNN was reporting entrance polling from some caucus sites and they showed that only 4% of the ppl polled we aged 18-39. while the 60-80+ yr olds had something like 70% turn out... i just smh. the kids talk a big game and are good at grassroots stuff, but when the time comes to put the ballot in the box...... they're are nowhere to be found.

The grassroots can't rely on just talking to them and HOPING young voters show up, that's a proven fail. We have to show up to THEM and help them fill out absentee ballot requests in person, drive them to the town clerk, caucus center in person, etc. We show up to THEM, they vote. Problem solved.

I follow a reporter on twitter @AnjeanetteDamon --and this is what she is tweeting: Unconfirmed report that precincts with mismatched ballot/sign-in counts will be dumped. Lots of votes in question. Multiple precincts in Clark where precinct capt's weren't diligent in signing people in. Ballot count doesn't match sign-in counts

Hmmm, what if precincts with heavy Paul turnout got thrown out, because somebody decided to deliberately add sign-ins, or 'lose' a sign in sheet, to create a plausible-looking count discrepancy?

Elections are still counted by hand in this country too,to the best of my knowledge and we never have this sort of carry on.

Edit: Ron had a ceremonial burying of the hatchet with the Nevada GOP only a few months ago,I recall now and we have this nonsense again?

They're still counting because they have to count every precinct by hand! Over 60% of the population resides in Clark County! The campain and it's lawyers are physically at the counting site! There's not voting fraud just incompetence and also the fact that RP people didn't show up. I voted in Clark county and can tell you Mitt Romney had an overwhelming prescence at my site.
