I just received this email from the Bob Beers reelection campaign. You may remember Mr. Beers as the chair of the GOP State Convention who illegally recessed the convention when it was apparent that Ron Paul was winning.

It might be fun to show up in our Don't Gavel Me Bro t-shirts and with signs to this little non-fundraiser celebration to show our displeasure with his actions.

That's funny to me, but I think you should come up with something that's more horrifying to the average person. People should be horrified, too.

Is there a realistic chance of killing his bid for re-election?

It's a cause I'd work for. People like him are very much what's wrong with this country.

Unfortunately he is running in the next district over from me and I haven't kept up on his competition. I would recommend voting for anyone other than him in the August 12th primary though. If he wins his primary seat, then I think we're stuck with him.

Honestly, his voting record isn't that bad. He was just a tool of the establishment at the April convention. More often than not, I think he sides with the RP view of the world.

The Don't Gavel Me Bro t-shirts are black with white lettering and says "Nevada GOP Convention" on the front with the saying on the back! There might be some left and perhaps you can go to www.nevada4ronpaul.com or www.nevadagopconvention.com to inquire.
I got some and will always treasure mine. Apparently Bob Beers is looking at being the Governor of our fair state in the future. Not if I have anything to do with it. While he has some conservative values, he seems to be under the thumb of the RNC and therefore, not our type of guy.
