Everywhere it's the same nonsense. Krauthammer is calling for full-blown amnesty. Newt Gingrich suggested it as well with his insistence that the notorious Jeb Bush is one of the few that can repair the divide. There is rumblings that Rubio has plans for his own immigration plan.

Neocons are frothing at the mouth for excuses, when they refuse to look into the mirror. In 1986, this strategy didn't work and it won't work in the future. Trying to buy off dependents who naturally gravitate to the Democratic Party's non-stop toga parties isn't the solution to building a long-lasting coalition. In fact, a national polling organization recently conducted a national poll of hispanics gauging hispanic's opinion on Obamacare and 67% showing support for the program. All the amnesty in the world, isn't going to create some solid Republican coalition. It will actually do the oppposite.

Unreal. They cannot see people as individuals at all. They only see demographics. This is an odd way to view the world to me.

I've heard some saying they should become Pro-choice too. I actually feel sorry for how delusional they are.

When the chips are down, the neos take off their mask. They don't even try faking anymore.

Yep. They want the power. That's all.

They want to control the reins of power. If they have to be democrat lite, so be it. Constitution and sound money be damned.

In the power struggle between the left and the right, you have Ron Paul trying to reduce the power. Geez, what a nutjob!

You think the Republican base likes any of this? Jeb is a RINO, Christie is a traitor, Rubio is a Hispanic neocon. Why don't these guys go back to the Democratic Party where they belong?! Heck Bill Kristol was on FOX the other night saying we should accept some tax increases, just saying that millionaires paying 3% more in taxes "doesn't matter." I was utterly floored as to how concessionary on taxes he was. I'll say it again. Rand and his allies should seek compromise: no tax increases in exchange for defense cuts. Remember, Grover Norquist's pledge will throw off a lot of Republicans. I want to see the neocons cringe over that. If they side with their sacred cow, our primary stock goes up double or triple.

They hate the Constitution and always have. Good thing that their backstabbing right now will only alienate them more with angry conservatives.

There are some fruits to be picked from this Obama victory. For one, it has fully smoked out the Neos and revealed their true nature to the electorate. I hope they keep it coming.

I support amnesty and I think republicans are wise to consider it.

Neocons have always advocated for amnesty. This is them not letting a crisis go to waste.

Cheap labor for their cronies, another 'excuse' for higher deficits...................The neos love it. They want to bring in an eternal slave class to do their laundry, cook their meals, wash their cars, and groom their lawns. Meanwhile, folks like you and me are stuck with the residual bill.

You must understand that the neos could care less that the waves of immigrants are not learning english, because this key fundamental of upward economic mobility is not of their concern. They want dumbed down, dependent servants. The Neos have always been modern-day aristocrats.

I support it too. I want pretty much anyone who wants to come to the US be able to come here. As long as we get rid of all the free goodies I don't really care.

Friedman stated as much. A generous welfare state and an open borders policy cannot successfully co-exist. It will lead to ruin.

Sorry, you can't have both.

I wonder if it's possible to grant amnesty to any immigrant if they agree to forego any sort of governmental assistance?

No welfare.
No health care.
No educational assistance.
Social Security and Medicare only upon retirement and at 1/3 normal rates.

Do you think they'd go for it? I'm just spit-balling, but it sounds like a solution that could work. We'd get the right kind of immigrants and they'd get citizenship without fear of deportation. And their families would be Americans.

Isn't this what Romney essentially advocated? I thought his whole self-deportation thing revolved around this: take away benefits, and they won't want to stay here.
