The notion that we "have" to do anything (vote for Romney) is defeatist right out of the gate and EXACTLY what establishment requires to maintain power.
There's never been a better time to clean house.
Former Special Assistant to U.S. President George H. W. Bush and current Paul Campaign Senior Advisor Doug Wead addresses the mechanics of delegates and "electability" of Ron Paul in this surprisingly thorough MSNBC piece. Warning, it's Maddow, but seeing as Fox refuses(?) to run this story it's all I got.

As far as our founding father's principals and the requirement of our Constitution for Congress to declare war being
to the left of Dennis Kucinich... it's simply a matter of law and advice given us by our founders. Dennis Kucinich actually agrees with our Constitution on how to declare and fund a war, and he agrees with a humble foreign policy. Kucinich's steadfastness in defending these issues
and his view on auditing the Federal Reserve are the only thing I'll defend him for.
Kucinch has said more about auditing the Federal Reserve than Romney ever will, and more than Gingrich and Santorum combined.
These issues are also the issues in which Democrats, Independents/Greens, and Libertarians
AGREE with the
Republican candidate Ron Paul.
As far as Gingrich and his
magical debates go, Gingrich and the MSM are telling us that Gingrich is supposed to be able to somehow convince Democrats, Independents/Greens, Libertarians, AND irate/tireless/stubborn Paul supporters not only to NOT vote for Obama, but also to vote FOR Gingrich along with his history and the baggage from his party... This is a fantasy, as is a Santorum or Romney candidate pulling a win over Obama.
Paul/Liberty supporters have GROWN over the past 5 years, and have
not diminished like Romney. McCain didn't get our vote last time and Romney/Gingrich/Santorum sure aren't getting our vote this time.
It's as simple as this: When people rolled over and voted for the "R" offered up things got worse and the Liberty movement didn't grow. When people dug in their heals and refused to submit to establishment GOP candidates the Liberty movement grew.
And a bit about 'polling' and the MSM. These were taken off of RealClearPolitics
2-15-12 (Forbes Media LLC owns a 51% share of RCP). Notice that the RCP "averages" use differing amounts of poll input. Paul gets only an average combined from 6 polls, while Santorum gets 7, Gingrich 9, and Romney 9.
Santorum doing better vs. Obama than Paul!?
Only through the manipulation of numbers.
Notice in the RCP "average" used to bolster G/R/S the Pew Research Center poll used for "R" candidate vs. Obama. Santorum, Gingrich, and Romney are given as a choice but Paul is
excluded -hardly "research". Goebbels is smiling.
All leading to a headline like:

February 15, 2012 -Santorum Surge Forces Romney to Adjust
Rick Santorum’s surge in national polls[/color] is prompting Mitt Romney to begin talking more explicitly about his own conservative social views, in an attempt to blunt Santorum’s appeal to the Republican base.
Don't believe the "surges" or the "electability" based on polls or "averages" the MSM and establishment
constantly feed us.
