please post updates here..... on place to save us all the headaches of figuring out where the current news is being posted... theyve been going for three hours now right?

Not much good news to report on the second day. We tried to bring up some unfinished business during the "unfinished business" part of the agenda but they just talked over us, cut our mics and cued the music. It's like the whole convention was one big April Fool's joke on us. I did hear that there were a lot of non Paul supporters that were extremely upset over how things were handled though. One gentleman told me many people from his district at first didn't like what we were doing but eventually wised up to what was actually going on. He further stated that there will be lots of letters of discontent written in about how things were handeled but I don't know what that will really do for us and Ron Paul this year.

So we came in second in ND and will only get 2 out of the 28 delegates for the whole state?

From what I understand, the nominated names did not have candidates associated with them and were kept anonymous. They supposedly chose this list based off of who participated and donated to the party the most (that ain't gonna be Paul supporters). Knowing that, I'm not sure how people got the exact numbers of which delegates were supporting which candidate.

The big caveat to all this is that at least 60% of the delegates nominated have publicly stated that they are Romney supporters. I don't know how the other 40% were determined.

Maybe I'm wrong on all of this though. :p

Let's just say it's not real tough to guess who is going to support who. Most of the delegates are high profile and have made their allegiances known.

There are a couple of questionable ones, but the VERY strong likelihood is that both Santorum and Paul got seriously shortchanged.
