geez...no one is pulling a fast one

there was a segment on NBC news one minute after the original poster posted this thread....it was a guy with the last name gup that wrote a book on government secrets and it included classified documents and other info (some of it on 9/11)
it was a good news piece and i will try to find it if i can online...if not maybe someone really did tape it? i dont know
its not a joke it really did happen

ok so the anchor was brian williams...the book that the news piece was about was called A Nation Of Secrets by Ted Gup

I made the OP during a commercial on the news - you know how they will say "Next, we'll tell you about such-and-so..." Well as soon as I heard that I went to the computer and made that post. Then after seeing the news item - about "Nation of Secrets" - I totally forgot about having posted it. I kid you not.

Anyhow I just had a feeling they might be going to mention Ron Paul and wanted to make sure someone taped it, because I knew I couldn't find a tape that quickly.

Again, I apologize. The OP was definitely not meant as a prank but I sure have laughed myself silly reading all the replies!
