NATIONAL USA Today/Gallup Poll: Ron Paul in 3rd place with 14%, Bachmann in 4th with 13%

16% in Iowa, 14% nationally!! I'm ecstatic! I only dreamed of getting these numbers for the 07-08 campaign when I was walking door to door in Iowa during the winter & working 16 hours a day in the war room while only seeing 5% on a good day. I can't wait to take my 6 month leave of absence in 3 months, I'm going to volunteer all of my time to the campaign while paying my own way. President Paul is going to be nice to say.

The thing that's unique about Ron is that his numbers are steadily growing. I see this as highly significant.

You're right Anaconda, but sometimes its just so infuriating that when its our candidate they just can't report the numbers the same way they would if it was the "establishment" candidate. Ron's polling numbers are totally awesome and there is a real chance he can sweep this thing away. I'm cautiously optimistic about Ames. I'm nearly certain he'll place at least 3rd but in my heart of hearts I want him in first and nothing but first lol.

I think 7500 votes would for sure win it, and should be our goal. With all the different schemes and shadow campaigns and such it will be interesting to see the actual numbers that pan out.

Ron is trending upward on Intrade as well. He was up from 25 to 33% in the last day or so.

Romney supporters are typically the country club GOP voters. Generally, upper class

It's not something they're proud of.. kind of like Bachmann's husband.. very much in the closet.

They are the one's who say, "I like Ron Paul but he can't win".

I know a Romney supporter. Yes, they're country club Republicans. Or, old Republicans from the Northeast. Those who preferred Rockefeller to Goldwater in 64. They complain about Obama, because he's inexperienced. They don't think the government is too big.
