What's Ron Pauls stance on this National ID card with RFID chips they are planning on imposing on us all?

ok well i hope some one posts some good links to videos of Paul speaking about these issues...

But basically that it is a blatant move towards fascism and a clear violation of the constitution

He is totally against it. He spoke against it in one of the debates. He also voted against the national ID card.

Since the public rejected the idea that National ID cards are necessary to fight terrorism, they are pushing it under the new guise that it will "help prevent illegal immigration" by identifying legal workers.

Someone needs to start a business, how to fry the RFID chip without damaging the appearance of the ID.

That is easy, I read somewhere that you just pop it in the microwave, and VOILA! No more tracking. But, the solution to that will be to... inject it under your skin. I Can't Wait!

I received my passport about a year and a half ago.... how many seconds do I leave it in the microwave?:D

Does it have the RFID in it? The passports that have it are pretty obvious.

Actually, using a sledge hammer on it is probably a better idea. Microwave might cause a fire and burn the passport.

Clearly most of you aren't going to agree with me, but I see no problem with having a document that is used to prove citizenship for either employment or voting. No RFID or databases necessary.

Like most tools, it's all about how it's used. If we strictly limit it's uses with clear laws, all we need is to ensure that we have law-abiding individuals in office. Clearly you could make the case that such is not the situation in our present day, but in the end, it is our goal. When our form of government is restored to it's proper role, an ID that allows an individual to prove definitively who they are would only be a benefit.

Please see America: Freedom to Fascism by Aaron Russo. He explains very well why a national ID card is a very bad idea.

I can, that means I'll be living off of berries and dear meat.
