Clearly most of you aren't going to agree with me, but I see no problem with having a document that is used to prove citizenship for either employment or voting. No RFID or databases necessary.
Like most tools, it's all about how it's used. If we strictly limit it's uses with clear laws, all we need is to ensure that we have law-abiding individuals in office. Clearly you could make the case that such is not the situation in our present day, but in the end, it is our goal. When our form of government is restored to it's proper role, an ID that allows an individual to prove definitively who they are would only be a benefit.
