Myth-Busters: "Islam" Does Not Hate "Us"

Its Molyneux, he has an habit to ponder to people insecurity for cash.
Yeah, but this vid is one of the better ones. He provides legit sources for everything in the description. It's basically a research paper read aloud. I'll dig up others if I get a chance. The point is RP's claim about the Crusades was not accurate.

RP is completely off base on this one.

I totally get where he's coming from, the conflict with Islam has been used as an excuse for a horrendous foreign policy. Yet at the same time acceptance of it is being shoved down our throats, often from the same people flogging it for foreign military adventures.

The basic fact of the matter is that a majority of the text in the central book of Islam is about hating non-muslims. There's no getting around this fact.

Islam is the most anti-liberty creed ever created by man.

Its about the official Crusades but the multiple "unofficial crusades" that came after it.

I haven't read a lot of religious texts, but you're right from my experience. There's also never been a unified body that made Islam clear in the way the Christian Councils did. It's quite open to interpretation-even to "orthodox" (if that term applies?) Muslims.

Read the Koran, it's far worse than I can describe. It's the rantings of a criminally insane, mass-murdering, slave-taking, oath-breaking, child-raping lunatic whose sole goal was amassing power and wealth for himself and having sex with whomever he wanted.

"They hate us for our freedoms!!"

Please don't put me on your ignore list.... I will be so devastated.

Molyneux, seriously. He lives in an area where their is a decent Islamic population.

Broken clocks and all that. Western "education" thoroughly butchers history re the Crusades. They were not by any means the atrocious bloodthirsty "convert at swordpoint" BS we were taught in school. I have no doubt that some atrocities occurred, as they do in pretty much any war, but the Crusades were not anything remotely like what we were all taught in school.

They hate us because it is utterly central to their belief system.
"Anyone trying to understand the conflicts in the Middle East, and especially Israel, must understand that it is a blood-feud between two brothers that goes back 5000 years." --Billy Graham

Read the Koran, James, and get back to me on that one. Graham didn't get it right either.

I don't care about the Koran. The questions is should innocent people be discriminated by the state because their religions( which most of them had nothing to do with) is mostly not compatible "western values". Also, is their parts of Hasidic Judaism that are just as bad as Sharia Law.

Pro-Islam, brings anti-Jewish statements completely out of left field when they're not even remotely related to the subject at hand...

Yeah, I know your type.

German, are you?

Did you think I was talking about the Crusade? Its about Molyneux and how the guy cannot be trusted?

The Heifer 62
Those who believe, and those who are Jewish, and the Christians, and the Sabeans-any who believe in God and the Last Day, and act righteously-will have their reward with their Lord; they have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

This is a strange statement. Jews and Christians are mentioned as 'People of the Book' in the Quran and are actually given a higher status compared to other non-believers in the Islamic faith. I've actually studied the Quran and I can definitely say you are 100% wrong. I usually don't reply to these kinds of things cause I hate religious discussions online so hopefully this is my last post in this topic.
